Hi, all! Another St.Louisan here!

I'm HOPING to take my daughter on an 11th-birthday-last-year-before-middle-school-and-she-hates-me Mother/Daughter trip! We are looking at the dates of November 1-6. We will probably stay Value at Pop or ASMu.

Early this week, I got a PIN for 10% off....REALLLLLLY hoping for FD or a room only discount to come later on, but I will probably book Room Only for our dates as soon as I can FULLY convince DH...

I will add you! We are having a trip sort of like that. Ours is a you-are-turning-13-and-may-not-act-like-you-are-related-to-us-much-longer-family-trip lol

We were planning on Nov 24-Dec 8th, but were waiting for Free Dining before we booked. Got a 30% PIN, but the only way it'd make sense for us is if we stayed deluxe and we can't afford that. Boo. I wish we could give it to someone!

I'm so excited!!! I just booked our rooms for November 13-18! Five nights preferred at All Star Sports for $502 per room. Love the 35% off pin that I got!

Oh, I got my boss to agree to another day off so this will be my longest stay yet.

This will be our third year in a row going the week after Thanksgiving. The first year we got a room off PIN but passed on it for the FD. Last year we also got the FD (no PIN offer). This year I would rather the room off PIN to stay at a WL.

Everyone with the PIN's for November 2012, did you just get them? Did they come in the mail or email? I have called WDW and to no surprise there is nothing attached to our account.

So, right now we are booked POR from 11/25 - 12/2....No discounts or anything...juss reg old rack rates.....

We are considering making the switch to 11/11 - 11/18

Now....I need you and your crystal ball to suggest which dates, historically? would offer the best chance at Free Dining?!?!?

Also, is the 11/11 time frame what they call "Jersey Week" ??

Any thoughts here.....Hope you all have a MAGICAL time during your visits!

We were booked at POR from 11/10-11/17 and switched to 11/25-12/2 because of all the stuff going on that weeka and Jersey week I was looking at past years and decided we would have a better chance of FD the week after Thanksgiving vs Jersey week. But Veterans day is also that weekend too so usually there are no discounts on holiday weekends

Hi, we always go the week after Thanksgiving. This year our dates are Nov. 24th - Dec. 1st. Free Dining has been offered during this time frame for several years now. I hope you get just what you want.

We are full price and hoping for a promo also. (Usually always manage to grab free dining. ) I have done everything but stand on my head to get on Disneys mailing list for pins. I have never recieved one.

No pin for me either. But we were lucky enough to have FD in 09 and a fab room discount in 08. So, hoping for something similar this year!

What type of pins have been offered for November? I only received a upgrade from regular park tickets to hopper with fun and more. Doesn't work for me as we don't hop and really not a great discount anyhow. I haven't booked yet. When I called about the first pin I received the CM told me to wait until after 3/10 as that is when the first pin will expire and I should probably get something else at that time, but nothing yet! I received a Disney Destinations email this morning, but it was just telling me to order a planning CD. Not sure if I will book without a discount of some sort! I need to make my mind up in the next month or so in order to not miss the 180 day ADR mark!!!!!!!!! Why do they have to make this so difficult!

I can understand your frustration. Planning a WDW vacay is sometimes mind blowing! So much to consider! But, the planning can be less of a hassle when you've pals doing it right with you - US! Your fellow Disers! At this point, I believe there are some of us who have received FD PINs good for their Nov stay. And there are some who have received room discount PINs. These are PINs sent randomly. Then, there are the rest of us, who are still waiting patiently for a discount of sorts. Our ADR window will open in May, so as you can imagine, some of us are getting anxious!!

I would definitely book with the PIN you have in hand, and try to remain flexible so you can take advantage of a better discount offer if one comes along. You'll always be able to modify that reservation later, and It would be better to receive 10% off than pay rack rate later because there was no other promotion that worked for your trip!

I'm booked at 20% off room but that doesn't include Friday and Saturday nights. Seriously hoping for FD

Why not go ahead and book. Then if buy the 45 day mark you can either make changes or cancel all together without any repercussions. I have never recieved a pin. All of my discounts are by public codes. And these have been released in Aug./Sept. I will be really shocked if something isn't offered to us.

I just called to see if I had a PIN and at first I got really excited because the CM told me I did have one. But it turns out it was the regular % discount that is available to the public right now. I'm not sure what to do. We definitely want to go in Nov. I'm wondering if we should book now and hope a discount comes along over the summer. What are the chances of getting a PIN after you book a trip?

We are only about 8 hours away, so flying wouldn't make much sense for us. Especially when I'd need to buy 7 plane tickets.

Our kids don't seem to mind the drive. They've all got iPods or or Nintendo DS's or PSP's or something. And the addition of DVD players to cars was seriously the best idea ever!

If we are going for a longer time, we usually drive down on a Saturday. But when we are trying to get as much time in WDW as we can, we will sometimes leave on a Friday, right after work, stop for the night in Jacksonville, and be at WDW by about 11am the next day.

We haven't booked anything yet because if we don't get free dining, we'll be staying off-site. With a family of 7, it's a much better value for us. But with free dining, on-site becomes the better option.
