well..I told y'all earlier I was gonna call today-but after that I got MUCH worse..so I have been in bed all day..don't feeling like talking on the phone at all...sure sign I am sick if I can't talk Disney, right? Hopefully I will be better tomorrow!!!

I am in bed, sick as a dog! I think this would be a good time and ask a CM if I have a PIN attached or anything!! Maybe it would make me feel better to hear some Disney talk today!! Hopefully I will be on hold with a great Sherman brothers song!!!
hope you feel better soon!

Do ya'll think that The buildings along Main St. will be canvas free when we all go? I realize that they aren't that invasive. But I would love for Main St. to be just the way it is supposed to be. :goodvibes
Yes, it should be done by then. they've had that main st. bakery construction going since January, so it should be gone by November, probably pretty soon I would guess actually.

here is a pic of it.

Some places we def will do are Hollywood and Vine, Chef Mickeys, Kona Cafe (Tonga Toast :-D) and possibly Crystal Palace. Im gonna try and find a character dining ready that has Chip and Dale. My son loves them. As far as MVMCP I don't know what that is. I feel bad saying that :-/
We are staying in a royal guestroom river view at Magnolia and the pictures I've seen if these rooms are amazing.

Another place you can find Chip & Dale is Mickey's Backyard BBQ at Ft. Wilderness. Not sure how old your son is but he may enjoy this one. This is considered a dinner show and takes 2credits on the DDP. I think the shows only run on Thursdays & Saturdays in the fall. Check it out on youtube :thumbsup2

Anyone planning to do the SOA dinner show? OR anyone done this in the past and enjoyed it? Was really wanting to do HDDR on this trip but with so much confusion about refurb or no refurb :confused3 I am looking for other ADR options.

Good morning ya'll. :goodvibes

Disney Mommy 3......I hope you are feeling much, much better today. :goodvibes

natter....I can't answer your questions but I KNOW someone in here can. :thumbsup2

How is the food?

I did not care for the food, but I knew I would not going into it. The menu did not appeal to me. I actually got our server to bring a kids plate to our table, we did not have children with us. :cool1: The rest of my party really enjoyed the food. If you like the menu I am sure you will like it.

Good Morning!!!! Its supposed to be a beautiful day here! High of 70~spring is coming!!! I still havent worked on my ADR's much. I have been trying to get all caught up on the DISboard. Hopefully today I will pull the stuff out. I do have a list of places I want to try:

La Hacienda de San Angel
Via Napoli
WCC
Akershus
O'Hana
Fulton's
Cape May

Just curious......... How do ya'll pick your resorts? Do you stay with one? Or do you like to try out different ones? Hubby and I are stuck on the WL. There is a part of me that would like to try somewhere else. I have actually booked us into other resorts. But we always decide to go back to the WL. I would like to try POFQ this time. Not only would it save us about $1500.00.:thumbsup2 All the pictures I have seen are so pretty and romantic. :goodvibes But out of all the places we have stayed......the Lodge just has our hearts. So......What do ya'll do?

Budget has usually dictated our resort choices. When we were a family of 6, with the youngest under 3, a room at POR with the trundle bed was the least expensive on-site option. After our youngest turned 3 (and when we had my mom and sister with us on parts of earlier trips), 2 rooms at a value was our least expensive option.

On our last trip, we were a party of 10, staying for 2 weeks. As much as I enjoy staying on-site, we just couldn't pass up the incredible savings of renting a pool home. We spent $2100 for 2 weeks for all 10 of us, when 3 rooms at a value would have been double that.

We are a family of 7 now, so even though I would love to try all the deluxe resorts, even if we could afford it, I don't think I could justify spending $500 or more per night for our hotel. That's just crazy to me. Even staying at a value resort at $200 per night is hard to sell to DW when we can have a large home with our own private pool for $150/night or less.

That's why I'm on this thread. :)
With our large family trying to stay on a budget, free dining is the only way I can convince DW it's worth it to stay on-site. :)

Yep Spring is here. In all of its pollenated glory.

You know when we went last, the reviews for San Angel Inn were not that great. But I went against them because I liked the ambience (?) of the place. Well, we were very pleasantly surprised and truly enjoyed the place. :thumbsup2 I am hoping to get us back in there this time as well. San Angel and Le Ceiller are my two must haves for Epcot. :goodvibes

I have heard alot of good things about renting these homes. I'm glad to hear another. :thumbsup2 I do hope things work out and you get just what you want. My personal opinion is that free dining will be offered to us Nov./Dec. people as well. (We need a smiley with its fingers crossed.)

Forgot Le Ceiller on the list!!! :headache: :lmao:

I do not believe it. Is it like a dart board and every pin they send us is for 10% any hotel because that is what they hit on the board, LOL? I have gotten three different pins in the last week and all three were for 10% (at least all were our travel time)

LOL well atleast you got a PIN...I havent gotten anything!:headache:

You know, it took me the longest time to learn to pronounce that place. Now when I say it.......I feel special.:lovestruc :rotfl:

that is HILARIOUS! And, now that you mention it,me too!!!!:lmao: Cracks me up when people point at it or spell it out and I tell them how to pronounce it and they say 'ooooooh'...Like I have them in awe...such a Disney thing! And yes, I feel a million times better today! thank you so much!! I am just tired....and of course, my allergies had slacked off yesterday-I guess to allow my virus to ruin the day-and they are back today--everything here is COVERED in pollen..we are suppose to get rain everyday from now till Sunday-can't wait..it's the only thing that helps make this time of year bearable.

Are they coming to you thru email? I haven't gotten anything either...but I have only gotten 2 thru the mail, and never more than one a year....

The only thing I can think of is..... 3 trips equals 30%. And when you look at it like that...... Not a bad discount. :thumbsup2

No really......since you are on Disneys list I do hope you get something that works for you!! :goodvibes

Everything is covered in pollen here as well. We had a great rain this past weekend. I was in hopes that it would make things better. As soon as the rain stopped the pollen was back in full force. :sad2:
