Ooh! Thanks for mentioning it. I'm going to go preorder it now.

We didn't used to do the Photopass thing at all, but on our last two trips we did and LOVED it. Now I can't imagine not having those pictures.

Yep, just pre-ordered ours! We've done it on our last 2 trips also. DH actually found out about this before me :lovestruc He feels like he is one up on the resident Disney Nerd (me!). :rotfl:

mydisneyobsession - we currently have the same number of posts! weird, never had that happen before :)

Ok, not now since I posted this, but we both had 363

Great share on the photo pass!! Has anyone done the book?

Thanks for sharing that. :goodvibes

No problem! Gotta save where we can! :thumbsup2

We haven't, but DSIL did for her last trip. It was very nice. I am considering it just because I am terrible at putting things in a scrapbook or anything else. The stuff from our last trip (Nov 2010) is still in a tote bag upstairs in the spare bedroom.

Me too! I know you can get them from other vendors on the web, just wondered if it was a lot better. I guess it would for sure have better borders, etc... I might go ahead and do that.

Ok, really dumb question on my part, but do you have to have a regular admission ticket to MK in addition to your MVMCP ticket if we are only going to head to the park during MVMCP hours? It has never been an issue for us before, but we will be there 11 days and are only getting a 10 park hopper. I was thinking that our MVMCP day might be a nice slow, sleep in, swim, hang at the resort kind of day.

Thanks!

We went in Nov and we only went to the MVMCP in the evening and we only need the party ticket. It did not take a day off our 10 day pass.

Have a magical time

Too funny! I'm not posting enough - I see I'm falling behind now!

My real life is infringing on my Disney Obsessing lately. I've been too busy to get on the boards, and it's got to stop! Doesn't everybody know I've got a trip to plan? LOL.

We always fly, but today I looked to see how long the drive would be from our house. I learned that we're 16 hours away from WDW and 24 hours away from Disneyland. Depressing.

Thanks for sharing about the photo pass discount. I'm off to purchase mine as soon as I post this.

You only need your MCMCP ticket to get into the park, and if they do it the same as previous years, you can actually get in as early as 4pm with your MVMCP ticket!

I'm thinking about doing the same thing. Maybe do some resort hopping to look at Christmas decorations.

We are 11 hours from WDW and 72 hours from DL!! DH won't even consider going to DL! :rolleyes1

Just hopping on to say hello and to get on board, even though it appears I am way late! Bringing our son for his very first trip to see his hero Buzz Lightyear. He will turn 3 the last day of our trip. Hoping to snag free dining! Nov 15-23 staying at ASMo for my little Toy Story addict!

Hi All,

Our last 2 family trips were in the second weeks of Nov 2008 and 2010. We enjoyed the Christmas decorations but in Oct 2011 I went with my sister and some friends. We really enjoyed the Halloween decorations and the Halloween Party (more so than the Christmas Party). I promised the kids I would take them to the Halloween Party in 2012. I'd like free dining as kids turning 10 and they won't eat $52 worth of food a day. I am debating between end of Oct and 11/1/-11/9. I know the Halloween Party is held for the last time on 11/1 or 11/2 but not sure when they remove the Halloween decorations. Jersey Week doesn't usually faze me but this year I am more concerned because of the timing of Veteran's Day. Also, I don't want to hit the black out date for free dining (if they do free dining). Any suggestions for end f Oct vs. first week of November? thanks for any and all suggestions!! Can't wait for the trip!!

I am very confused. :confused3 If you don't mind, where generally do you live? :goodvibes You've made me very curious.

I live in Houston, Texas.

I really thought we were about in the middle, but the drive to the West is a lot longer than the drive to the East!

Well last year FD was offered until the 3rd so it might be offered the first few days in november. I liked the Halloween party too! I do know that end of Oct(Halloween) is busy for the party but not sure about 11/1-11/9

Sorry to be MIA lately. The holidays caught up to me and now I'm preparing for my spring semester.

Nothing new to report with the exception of some DVC talk here. DH's coworker is a DVC owner and it has really had us thinking and researching.

I did get some pretty sweet clearanced Disney Christmas goodies while hitting the post holiday sales and we totally told the kids for the sole purpose of bringing back our cute countdown.
