We're going late October and got a really great rate on a small suv (cheaper than an economy car) with Alamo thru BJ's Wholesale Club...not sure if you're a member of any clubs but if you are, check them first.

I want just a compact. I hope the prices are A LOT cheaper for them! I don't HAVE to have a car, just would like one. If the prices don't drop I will skip it.

Got a quick question. Do you guys pass on the liability insurance? Does your own car insurance cover that? I thought about this but just don't trust that my insurance would cover any damages.
This is our first trip so I'm a little green.
Can anyone tell me or direct me to a thread on the best way to paying tolls between MCO & WDW when getting a rental car? There was a disclaimer on my receipt from Budget saying you must either us a Sunpass or the Budget e-toll. I had read that rental companies charge a large fee for using their charge processing.

Check with your Car Insurance company ahead of time to see if they cover rentals, many do cover Liability but not Damages, some cover both, some cover nothing.
Also check with your Credit Card company, my MasterCard has Damage coverage, but no Liability.
Between my Car Insurance (covers Liability) and my MasterCard (covers Damages), i'm covered.
I booked Alamo in May and got a full-size rental for 8 days for $104, just by watching for codes in a thread just like this one. If I can get a similar deal for November, we'll rent a car. If not, we'll stick with Disney transportation!
We have a mid-sized car from Alamo from Nov. 25 - Dec 4 and are paying $215.13 total using the ID code 7014696 and coupon AD8Z21SDB for $40 off from BJs. I booked this way back in March and am so glad I did with the way prices are now.
