Just got a Visa Card e-mail, For 1,700*
based on a family of four
in a standard room for stays most nights
1/1/09-2/12/09, 4/19/09-5/21/09, and 8/9/09-12/17/09.

That's only $61
per person per day!

So I would think the discounts will come out soon. I had a hard time finding space at the Value hotels for 11/28- 12/7. Music was the only hotel

I got this one too but not from Disney Visa but from Disney Destinations and i don't think it is a personal code. I think it is a general public code.

I got the same e-mail Now the 8/9/09-12/17/09. dates would be great if it was for 2008. I'm confused why they would comeout with a rate deal for 2009 and not 2008

well my parents got the postcard type thing in the mail that others have gotten so i called and used the code to get some prices and before anyone gets upset if we go they are going with us so it's ok.

So for Nov. 8th 7 nights pop century with base tickets only it was $856! That sounded really good to me! and that would be for my parents.

then i asked about 7 nights at pop for 2 adults one jr. and one child and base tickets only and it was $1,285.

then i got greedy and remembering that ususally the longer you stay the better the deal seems and so i asked for 10 nights pop with 10 day base for 2 adults 1 jr and 1 child and it was $1,476!! WOW that would be almost like the commercial only better! We could do 10 nights with 10 days in the park for all 4 of us for under 1500!! Then of course i remembered i would have to feed them for all those days too!!!
but the difference in price from 7 days to 10 days was $191.00 and you get 3 more nights of hotel stays plus 3 more days of tickets!!
If i just didn't have to add in the darn food!!!!!!!

Hope this helps someone who is going stir crazy waiting for some info.

p.s. i also got the nicest CM on the phone who was more then happy to look all that up for me!

cool! We are 2adults and 1 child planning on staying at the POP for 9nights 10days Nov 14-23. The 191.00 would be great to used toward food. theres still hope for us-lol!

I don't really know the answer to this question. And I think it can be varying degrees also.

If Disney sends a mass PIN out, when you get it might determine where you are on the list. I know with the AllEars Newsletter, I don't get it til a couple days after they released it.

The discount codes for the general public should be coming out in the next couple of weeks.

I believe they open at 7am EST and yes, they will have the discount available first thing in the morning. I would expect it to arrive next week.

Last August, I was waiting for a code for November. I checked every morning - first thing. One morning I checked at 7am - nothing. I went to work & checked as soon as I got to work & the code was there - I think it showed up between 7:30 & 8:00. By the time I got it, I couldn't use it for the full 4 days I wanted it at the Poly, but I was able to split my reservation & use it for the last 3 nights - and I did save quite a bit of money

So keep checking!

This thread talks about a rumor of codes coming out on Aug 14th.
I don't know how reliable this website is, but I think I have heard it mentioned on the DIS before!! I hope they are right!!

Both, like anything else they open a limited number of x rooms at each resort. I don't need the preferred rooms, but in 2004 that's all they had left in POP.

Wow, I just received an offer. $99/night at a Value. Isn't that rack rate? I'm booked at just a little over that price now for a mod. with AAA discount. I hope the Disney Visa rate comes out next week like it is supposed to.
