Want to welcome you aboard, too. I see lots of "newbies" subscribing to this thread. As I am still "Earning My Ears", too - I have to say, this site is addictive.

We are new to all of this. We are going to be at WDW the week of Thanksgiving. We have not booked anything yet (realizing we need to "get on the ball" with that!). If I book and then codes come out for then, can I change the reservation? What if I book a package now (with the dining plan)...can I change it if codes will apply? Thanks for any input!

We're planning our second trip to WDW and our DS is dying to stay for a whole week! We're planning on going the week of Thanksgiving. Watching for a code!!!

Has anyone ever gotten a code over Thanksgiving. I thought that in the past T'giving week dates were blacked out or unavailable. Most of the resorts are booked anyway. A code would be great though.

I have a couple of questions about the November codes from last year...

1) When did they come out? I have heard around 8/16?

2) What were the discounts last year?

3) Were you allowed to travel over Thanksgiving last year? Say, checking in before Thanksgiving and checking out after?

We got a discount last year and we checked in on the Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend. And the codes came out mid Aug. I can't recall right now how much we saved. We already had a package booked and just applied the code. I want to say it took off about $300.00. And we had 7 nights at Pop with 2 adults, 1 Jr. and 1 Child. with dining.

We are also going to be there from November 21 - Dec 1. I would like to get an upgrade code in away but I love POP and so do my kids.

If you have booked already like me you call and just ask to have that code applied to your ressie. If there are any rooms left at you resort they can add it to your package, if not you may have to move to a different hotel to use the code. Last year we stayed 10 nights and with the code we upgraded from all stars to CSR and it ended up around $20 more a night, I cant remember but it was not much. This year we will save the money as DH is not coming with us. The thing with coming in before the code takes affect is that you have to " check out on the day the code starts and then check back in" So you would have two ressies instead of one. Hope this helps.

If a code is released which applies to a resort you already have booked, can you still call and use the code? when I booked my trip I got the package (room and tickets), could I still take advantage of a discount code?
