November 2007 Code Watch

This may have been addressed, but I am confused now...if I book our Nov/Dec vacation now (with Disney) and then a discount is offered in August, can I add that discount without incurring a fee?

I have always applied a code to my reservation months after i booked it and have never been charged to do so.

Sorry if I am repeating a question that may have been addressed already, but when are the November discounts expected to be released?
Thanks.:)

I am a watcher too..... splurging and going to WL, so really could use a discount code. :)

fyi.. airtran has $59 flights from pittsburgh to orlando thru Nov. 2nd.

I'm new to this site as well. We will be going Nov 14-20! Trying to figure out best deal, where to stay. Will keep checking for codes!

Just booked for 11/11-11/17 at the Beach Club!

Forgive my ignorance, but by "subscribing" are you folks referring to when I registered for these boards? Or do I need to get a Disney Visa card? :confused3

Thanks for your help.

Cepas,

Subscribing is when you add a thread to your "list" so you will get notifications and have easy access to favorites. It's kind of like a favorites list. Whenever you post on a thread, you are automatically subscribed to it. You do not have to post though, you can simply go up to Thread Tools at the top of the thread posts and click on it, then click on subscribe to this thread.

Later, you can visit your favorite threads by going to Quick Links in the Disboards top bar. After you click Quick Links, click on Subscribed Threads. Once there you can decide if you want notification of any new posts that people make sent to your e-mail. I am subscribed to many, but the e-mails do not come for some reason anymore... So I simply go to my Subscribed Threads (under Quick Links) and click on the ones I am interested in. Go ahead and try it yourself now, any threads you have posted on will be in your own list of Subscribed Threads. Whcih, at the moment, will only be this thread!!

Easy for you to try this feature and easy to delete them when you no longer are interested in a particular thread.

Hope this is not too confusing!!

I am new to this. I am going November 17 to November 25th. I will be on my honeymoon. I am excited because I have not been since 1995 and he has never been. I would like a code. I have several packages ready to book, but I have yet to decide if I should have a dining plan. Any suggestions?

I think it totally depends on many factors. Budget, eating habits, etc, etc. For us, it's a great value as we do lots of character meals!

Mary we have gone to WDW for the last 3 years and we will actualy be there November 18th-26th. We have done the dining plan for the past 2 years and I feel it is totally worth it for us. My husband is a big eater andd my daughter a picky eater and it works fine. Also not worrying about how much money to bring for food is great. All you have to worry about is spending money which to me is heaven. You haven't been to WDW for a number of years and the food is pretty expensive like everything else. The only recommendation I have is that you decide about the dining plan and book your trip as ADR's have already started for that time frame and it may be difficult to get reservations during that time especially Thanksgiving. You really have to make ADR's for that time frame as not much will be available. The only negative I see for you is that you will be on your honeymoon and may not want to tie yourself down to strict reservation times but that is up to you and your hubby. have a great trip! B

I already have a travel agency who has my room on hold. I am trying to have everything booked by the end of the weekend. I am only doing 7 days at Dinsey and also plan on going to Sea World. If I book the dining is it only for the 7 days or the 9 that we are there?

The only 2 sit downs that I would really like to go to is the one in Mexico at Epcot and the rainforest cafe at the Ak. I read in the unoffical guide that you can sub sit down for quick service, but that would be a waste of money. I thought about just bringing lunch and things to the park and paying for dinner ourselves so we can spend more money on other things or shopping. I am not really interested in the chararcter meals. I just can't decide.

What is the whole "gathering" thing about for parties of 8? My brother and famly are joining us there, and he said I need to call a special number as we are now a "gathering"?
Does that change anything?
Just curious?!

Can I ask how the crowds are that week? We need to change our ressies this weekend and were contemplating 11/18-11/23 but I'm worried about how the lines will be for DD. Are the crowds manageable?

Thanks!

We are going Oct. 30 to Nov. 11th. So hoping for some codes to come out for that time.

Best of luck to you all to find the best deal possible!
