My husband and I are planning our next vacations.
As we are not used to U.S. holidays and we are thinking about November, I was wondering, when is Thanksgiven and is there any other holiday in this month to be avoided (we are planning to avoid crowds)? Is it a good month to go? I´m also afraid to arrive there and find some good attractions closed - I can´t lose Fantasmic, for example!!
I would love to hear about your suggestions.

Thanksgiving is the last Thursday of the month
the 25th this year

the only other holiday i know of in Nov is Veterns day
that's the 11th

as for crowds i haven't been in nov so can't help there
but i am pretty sure that is when the food festival is i could be wrong
someone else here will know for sure

Last time we went end of October and early November. Other than Halloween night at the Magic Kingdom, there were no crowds! We are going again this year at the same time. There were hardly any waits, the weather was perfect. I don't think I want to go any other time. I hear MK is always busy on Saturdays and the entire week of Thanksgiving is busy. Many visitors from New Jersey go the first week of November because of a school vacation but we left November 2nd last time. It's a fun time to go also because of the Food and Wine Festival at EPCOT.

Thanksgiving is always the third Thursday in November.

I planning to stay 15 days, but I think that it will be difficult to avoid both holidays, anyway, I´m hape to hear that it´s a good time to go..
I just can´t wait to go..
