November 2, 2013 - Disney Fantasy 7 night Eastern - Cruise Meet

Forgot to properly introduce myself and my family on my first post. Cruising o. This trip will be 2 adults , myself (Chad) and my wife (Tina) along with our 2 girls, Ainsley (10), and Emmy (7). Looking forward to meeting everyone on board. Considering the FEs as we did not do it on our first Disney cruise.

Welcome! Welcome! I'll get you added to the list.

It's currently 45 degrees in central Florida. The positive side of this is that it's currently 79 degrees in St. Maarten. Way to go, St. Maarten!

I'm SO looking forward to November 2.

:jumping1:

So many kids already... my daughter is excited! Our last cruise was the first week of September when most kids are going back to school, so our cruise had very few kids. Disney did a great job putting the few kids on board together at dinner, but it was so QUIET! I hope we can find a way for the kids to get to know one another :)

Okay-here comes a problem--maybe it's more like an opportunity! Swanie has business he must attend to in Orlando Oct 15-17. So we are looking at changing our cruise so he doesn't have to fly back down two weeks later. At this point we are just looking. But the cruise is actually a little cheaper and I could go down with him and spend a few days at F&W! (yeah)..

Any thoughts on this?

I think I'll miss you... And I haven't even met you yet!!

Thoughts? Don't do it. Why mess with a good thing? :rotfl2:
Shoot for the moon...do both trips! You only live once. (I'm such an instigator):smokin:

But if you do choose to switch, we wish you safe travels and smooth sailings. :flower3:

That sounds like a reasonable notion, though Swanie would be doing it alone. Drat! We'll know by the end of the weekend. Crunching numbers and annual leave available. Why can't they move the conference dates????

:welcome: to everyone who has joined recently! :cool1:

Counting down to November :hourglass ::yes::

YES PLEASE!!

tomorrow night!!:beach:

Just booked this cruise also. We just returned from Disney for Marathon weekend. This will be our 8th cruise, we have done 3 -4 night Disney Wonder, 2 - 7 night western on the Magic and 2 - 7 night on Royal Carribean Freedom of the Seas, one was Eastern and one was Western. Missed Disney so much that I said never doing another cruise unless its Disney so we are booked for the Fantasy. It will be myself, DH, DD 22, DS13 and DS 10. So excited. Coming for Jersey Week.

Looks like I have some updating to do. I'll look the posts over and get the list updated this week.

Again--Welcome to y'all!

Please refresh my memory: to book Palo as a silver castaway I must be paid in full and may do so 90 days before sailing...correct?

So - - I keep reading about all of your posts about how you can't wait to hit Disney - - Orlando - - Cruise......

Let me tell you MY situation.

I'm sitting at work. In my little office in my surgicenter with no windows. I am (no joke) 5 minutes from Downtown Disney. I can walk out on my balcony and look across the street and watch the roller coasters at Universal.

I can't figure out which hurts more - - waiting and WAITING 'til I was on my way to Florida (from when I used to live in NY)....or living here and working five minutes from the Mouse...watching the Magical Express and the Disney Cruise Line buses drive past my boss' window during our teleconference meetings.

 One of these days... you'll be watching the news....and you'll hear about some crazy lady in Orlando hijacking a DCL bus and speeding off to Jetty Park!

Yippee!!!!We just book an April cruise out of Galveston!!!! Happy Days!!!!

This means you're only steps away from my favorite "Earls" sandwich too! :rotfl2:

Your post reminds me of a scene outside my office window a couple years ago. This is what I had to look at for hours one day. Sigh.......:faint:
