Hope all will go OK

Lampy- you need to get into the sunlight a little now and then!
It will improve your complexion. Stay away from some areas of Chicago,
You may remind some people of the "old country" Long winters can do that to a person...i've heard :rotfl:

Hey!, where are the new-bee's(my name for the other people from DIS who will be sailing with us!)
Let's have some chatter out there!

JS :earboy2:

John, I think the "tutu" may have been too much for them :rotfl2: !! I think about now they are starting to realize what they are in for..... :cool1: That ship is ONLY so big........

One more thing.....anyone seen Doogie??? I haven't seen him here since I e mailed him pics of me in the tutu... :confused3 Wonder what he's doing?

I think you put Doogie in computer shock with that tutu.

I agree with John. The winters up in Indiana must be really brutal to make you dress up to that extreme! Don't worry, Lampy, that good old sunburn will be here soon enough.

Anybody else want to venture forth with their bio? I am working on mine to post later. Must be careful not to scare off anyone else!

Willie

i'm here :)

love the tutu picture!!! :rotfl:  :rotfl:

very busy here in the buckeye state; i just commited to the Columbus 1/2 Marathon in 8 weeks - ayyyyeee - what was I thinking? i entered a contest and was chosen, i entered for the free running shoes

been highlighting my navigators from last year's turkey day cruise with things I MUST do :smooth: what is high on your list to do during the sea days? wine tasting anyone? galley tours? any art of entertainment cooking seminars and I'M THERE!

ohMom....you got mail.........hmmmmmmmmmm days at sea? Monday.....Willie usually has palo booked...lol.....how 'bout beer tasting? Really it's at Diversions.....Then Thursday.....well that is the day "after" pirate night....I didn't see John after that "excursion" on Wednesday.....

I don't know which emoticon to add to this post... :rotfl2: or  or pirate: or :grouphug: ...Ron, your photos are great!!!

I don't think I will ever go to or think about the circus in the same light ever again! Especially when I see the elephants and a pink tutu-ed trapeze artist....

Nic, :wave2: DS, says that if you ever get tired of that vette and feel like giving it away he'd LOVE to have it...I'm still cleaning up the drool from his 12 year old male mouth.

You had some great photos...I actually hadn't seen the infamous Ron BonJovi yet...wow! Can that guy rock out!! :dancer:

And what is it with the pinchy photos in Cozumel??? :rolleyes1

I really wish we were going with ya'll for the next Turkey cruise....but I think we'll have a great time at Christmas at SSR. Right now, I'd just be happy to be at the Motel 6 down the road instead of home with everything that is going on.

Take care!

Thanks! It did go better than I expected...Dad liked the dietician and he listened to what she told him...now if he will just follow the rules.

Finally....if any of you fellow 2004 Turkey cruisers are interested I finally posted my photos from the cruise at ofoto. If you want to view them, send me a PM with your email address and I will send you the link.

I know its way early to be thinking about this, but I am anyway.

On our last cruise, we booked two staterooms and received identical travel agent gifts in each one -- a large Disney Cruise Line memory box, a pack of DCL notecards which you could insert a photo into each, and a small Mickey figure photo frame - Mickey's head was the frame.

Anyway, since we are again booking two cabins with the same agent...there's a good chance we might be getting the same gifts as last cruise or in any event, the same two gifts in each stateroom!

If there's anyone who is cruising again with the same agent as before and would like to think about exchanging stateroom gifts with me -- let me know!

In fact, right now I have a whole set of the above gifts - does anyone have something DCL related they'd like to trade now?? I've only used one of the boxes - the other is never used along with the notecards and the Mickey frame.

Kris

Kris,

Were you a repeat cruiser? Oh, let me look at the site :). This time, you should also recieve gifts from DCL. We've got 3 beach towels and a travel bag. I personally like the travelbag better. I wish DCL would change up the gifts more often for more variety, but the beach towels are nice.

Lamps,

I stopped at the local store to pick up some beer. Right in front of me, at my level (not very high :) ) was Miller Lite. I had visions of a bearded man in a Tutu!! I thought "Lampster, what should I choose?" I looked for the Bud Light; it was all gone... obviously, the peoples choice... gone!!! I had to settle for Miller. Tasted great... but man am I full!! LOL

Doogie, the fantacies have already begun? 2 years ago I was the "tin man"....miller lite can....look what happened to me........

Ditto on the beach towels. We now have 5 (we had 2 staterooms last time)....

All the way back to the bottom of page 2.....I'll have none of this behavior......LOL

Hey gang,

Just purchased our travel insurance through http://insuremytrip.com .

Travelux Travelite product - $129 for all four of us. Same as last year. Yes, there are more expensive products on their site to choose from, but it seemed to be what I needed w/out out all the extra fluff. I'm more concerned about trip cancellations and travel delays than AD&D.

Willie, since you're an insurance guy... if you've got any tips, chime in. There's a BWV contract June use year that's loaded up. Price is a bit higher $80 than what I like, but RFOR on BWV has been running around $75. I've got my eye on it, could recoupe 3K through rentals we choose.

It's been quiet on these boards this weekend? What are you all up to? We spent the day yesterday at another figure skating competition. Soccer today. WISHERS, I've been fighting a "bug" all week and have only run twice... and continued to eat.
