i'm up early to fininsh those last minute things -- not enough time now to read all the posts - you all have to catch me up at PORT!!


yeeee haawwww!!!!!!!!!!! leaving in 10 hours flying in 13 hours!!

I am glad I am not the only one who can't sleep.I figured I will crash tonight,and tomorrow night.I will be all rested by Saturday morning!Hope you all have a great flight!

When I had my formal altered, the little asian lady at the place kept trying to make it really fitted around the ribcage- I had to keep explaining that iIwas wearing the dress on day 3 of a cruise!!!! I figured out that when I get dressed each day, I will wear the best fitting clothes the first couple days, and the looser clothes for the last few days!!!! Pam

I didn't know I was doing a marathon??? uh um....my DH will tell you that I never walk much...he's always asking me to walk with him but I make too many excuses not to do it. One thing, it starts out going UP the hill and it's flat the rest of the walk...secondly, eh, I don't know...I figure with all the running around, carrying my faux supplies, scaffold, ladders, tools, etc. I think I've done my work out.

BTW~I walked in the door by 8:30pm this evening...just finished my clients faux painting. WHew...now I can start packing and such...the house is a total mess....all the kids left it for me to do...oh I can't wait to get on the boat to be waited on...to drink...to read...to swim...to suntan...massage....to be fed to...of course this will only last one week of no more of hearing..."WHAT'S FOR DINNER, MOM?" "CAN YOU GET ME THIS AND GET ME THAT?" UGh!!

.....OH I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!

That is great you got all your stuff done!We still have to finish packing and go to dealership to finalize papers tonight.My coworkers are coming over today,so I will be able to get stuff done while they are here.I am with you I can't wait! Talk to you tomorrow night via cell!Happy travels!

I'm almost sad that the cruise is here. What will I do with my time when I don't have this thread to post on?

I am sad,but then I am happy!We all get to meet finally!!What are we going to do?I told dh we will all book a cruise onboard for next Thanksgiving or we will keep this thread alive!

Mrs. Doogie is also a walker. We both love deck for and deck 10 (early) for walking.

Tri-D, is Mrs. Tri-D a walker. Give us a reason to get her up early so she's broken in for Grand Cayman. Shopping on GC is... not good. The only way to have fun on GC is to spend the day with fellow DISers!!!

Excellent!Deck 10 early is great for walking.Deck 4 I haven't done yet,but I plan on doing this time.It is always great when you have someone to walk with.

Well we are getting close! Safe travels to all leaving today (and by the way, I wish I could leave today!) and so now it is up to a few of us to reach 5000. I'll be off and on all day checking in. Must go to WAL-MART one final time. I am sure they are going to miss me during my trip. I am trying to get them to start a frequent shoppers club. Just think what I could get with my points! Maybe next year's Thanksgiving cruise!! Have a good day!

A few us can reach to 5000! We Can Do IT!!!. We will do our best not to hit 5000...we should let someone else to get it. We've hit 1000,3000& 4000...

I just got out of the shower and just thinking I would need to put in another 1/2 hour nap today...I have been up too late in the last few nights...so to get my energy back up...a nap would do me good.

Andrew.... the GoGo's were covered with a large towel and we were on stage with them. They put their back to the stage and while doing so, one of them must have thought her towel was "loosening up" a bit. She undid her towel to tighten things up "upstairs".. there was nothing underneath... I wasn't looking, but I saw it. I'd had some beers and a few free shots (compliments of being in "the band") so I looked again. Nope, those were hoots I thought to myself. I wasn't seeing things. NOBODY else in the band saw it.

That meant you had at least 2 "free shots" right Doogie?

a couple last minute questions concerning dress:
1. Is it acceptable for 8 year old boys to wear shorts on casual dinner night?
2. DO we need to bring any "cool weather" clothing other a sweater for movies or late nights outside?
3. Will DH be too unconfortable (warm) in long sleeve shirt at dinner on casual night? Thanks, Pam

Good Morning All!!!
Well, after a late night,,,I mean early morning, well, actually it was 1:30am, aw heck, I don't know...anyway, I was sooo excited I had to catch up on the posts to wind down. We're almost ready to load up & get kids, but we keep counting suitcases!!! Six isn't too bad, gotta have 1 separate for Orlando & return clothes because IT'S ONLY 29 DEGREES HERE!!! WHO ordered this cold weather??!! Dang!!! It was 82 here two days ago! But it's not as bad as Doogie & Tana & lots of others so I'll shut up!
DH just decided we should try to hit an earlier flight...oh goodie. Let's rush now!!! He wants to shop some in Orlando...(and put it where???) OK, we'll leave it in the car @ port w/ our warm clothes.
So, adios for now, will possibly check in via wi/fi in the ATL airport...may be waiting a bit. But for sure we'll see you all in LIME GREEN @ the port!
