It sure shouldb be; and always is when we're cruisin'!! :goodvibes

OH MY,

My wife Mary just marked up a floor plan of deck 6 with all of us Diser's. We have 10 Dis families on that deck alone.

Spread out from forward to aft on both sides. I would say the tag fairy will be busy on that deck.

Ice and Fletch are across the hall from each other.

I hope everyone has gotten there updated spread sheet.

Tri Circle D--we weren't able to see the 3D chicken little because the lines were too long--people were lining up approx 2 hours before the movie started. Since I was there w/ a 4 1/2 year old, 2 6 year olds and a 9 year old there was no way i was going to survive in such a line!! I'm glad ya'all enjoyed the movie!! I want to see it again in 3D!!

Lisa

Lisa- Here the 3-D version played at the Muvico theaters. Do you have those in Broward County? I was able to buy the tickets ahead of time on-line. I had never done that before, but it sure worked like a charm! The 3-D is great, I hope they play it this way on the cruise.

Andrew (tri-circle-d)

Willie-I don't want to say I told you so, but...The Texans did put up a very good fight. Apparently, the Jags defense underestimated the Texans offense. I believe the Texans still have a former Gator, Jabar Gaffney. He was an excellent receiver here for Steve Spurrier.

Lampy-Looking forward to meeting you hopefully at Beaches and Cream.

Just think everyone 13 days and 1 hour from right now, we will shoving off on our Turkey cruise!!! :cool1:  :Pinkbounc

Anybody wanting to tour the ruins...(I know Willie..NOT you!) Just wanted to give you the scoop on a tour we're taking...VERY reasonable, & HIGHLY recommended! Come join the fun! (Before Carnival books 'em up!)

Doesn't get more authentic than your guides growing up at the foot of the ruins!!

http://www.chacchobenruins.com/ ~ Main Website
icohuo@chacchobenruins.com ~ direct contact for reservations on the tour
http://boards.cruisecritic.com/arch...?f-169-p-3.html ~ For the rave reviews!

Laurie

I've heard several people ask which ruins tour several of us DISers are taking. Here is the information from a previous post. The website gives information about the company. The email address is to reserve with David and Ivan. The rave reviews address doesn't work. I believe there are now over 12 DISers on this tour - which is probably more private and individual than the one offered by DCL.

You can PM 5 O'Clock Somewhere! or me for more information.

Hi everyone--did you notice there are 2 live threads for the magic this week? How exciting!! Hopefully we will learn some things about the changes on the ship and Costa Maya before our cruise.

Andrew-we saw Chicken Little at a Muvico also. The 3 D version was only showing on 1 screen so the people seeing that first had to buy their tickets and then wait in a "special" line to get seats for that screen. I couldn't think of doing that w/ the kids I was w/. Hopefully they will either have the 3D version on the ship or I will be able to see it after all of the crowds!!

Only 2 more weeks of work and then the Magic begins!!!

Lisa

Lisa,

The work day factor has been a major part of our countdown!!! 9 more work days left here... DH and I were JUST talking about that!

Or, alternatively, only 9 more lunches to pack for everyone... either way it sounds GREAT!

Sherri :wave2:

Bummer. Just read a post that door signs are no longer allowed. So disappointed as I really liked the ones I made up. Oh well, I guess I will just make them into window clings to put on the verandah doors.
I can't believe the cruise is next weekend. :Pinkbounc

So, here we are, violated, on deck 10! :rotfl:

John is the very white guy, I am sunglass guy, and Julia is the babe with her back to Doogie. I don't recognize the speedo guy next to John.

Willie,

That guy with the speedo next to John had his entire body shaved!!! I remember taking the picture then walking forward, not realizing you were in the pic. When I walked by I thought "Oh my, who is that goofy @#$^#$ next to Willie!! ?"

Who's the dude 4th from the left? 4th from the right is....... Doogie!!! 5th from the right is.... Ronnie! John, where ya hidin... you lookin' at the Go-Go's?

My wife and I were talking about DCL (go figure) and we thought it would be cool if you could see the Wonder while cruising on the Magic. We know this has happened a few times and that the Wonder and Magic have actually docked in the same place.

Then it dawned on me...because our cruise is going to CC first there is a fairly good chance we may see the Wonder (daylight permitting). You see, the Wonder is on CC on Saturday the 19th and will be heading home at the same time that the Magic is sailing towards CC.

Buddy Bear-I know we saw the Disney Wonder go pass us while we were on the Disney Magic in December. We were headed to the Eastern itinerary. We didn't sail by it too close, but we could see it was the wonder. We saw it around 11PM on Saturday night. There were several people out there looking for it.We will be out there looking again this time looking for it.DH and I were saying it might sail by us earlier then 11 though since it is just ocming back from CC and we are heading there. It is surely a sight to see.Too bad it isn't right up close.

Would you believe that fat guy in front of me with the white permed hair is hiding me???????? :rotfl:

BTW don't i outweigh him by 100lbs! :goodvibes

John :earboy2:

KennyK, thanks so much for the spreadsheet! I noticed that our room (6040) will be next to another DIS'er's room! We will try to keep the noise level down, and I shall make sure we behave ourselves on the veranda. :teeth:

Today, I finished my pre-trip shopping. I am hoping to not spend any more time at the stores between now and when we leave. Oh, I guess I will have to take DH to the store, as he has no nice clothes to wear that fit him comfortably. The one thing DH intensely dislikes about cruising is having to dress up for dinner. My girls and I, we love it, DH moans and groans until he starts eating. Once the food arrives, all is forgotten and he is a happy man!

Has anyone requested a server yet? Or do you guys like to have someone new each time? We are hoping to have Adrian D. again (he has been our server for 2 cruises previously) and I also requested a Hungarian, any Hungarian will do! I don't have a chance to speak my native language here, so I hope to find someone on the cruise to talk with. It's the little things that make me happy!

Let's see...$239. X 5 = 1195.00 I think I spent about $275.00 more...rats!
Oh well...just a little more...I'm not going to complain and it is Air Tran we are flying. We will be in Indy at around 2:30pm Fri the 18th. What time is your flight? or are you going down there on Thurs or Fri?

Arrgg...can this be true? Can anyone verify this? How will we be able to identify who the DISers are?

The jury is still out on this one. There have been a few posts already from recent cruisers who had no issues at all with door magnets or signs.

There is a woman named Barb - Disboard name: inkkognito who knows DCL and its crew better than most. She is currently on the Magic (this is her 46th sailing with DCL) and she started this thread.

Someone already asked her to check out what the story is. I would believe her more than most.

I just checked the spreadsheet, and there are 12 DIS families on deck 2. I guess we'll have to do our best to keep the boat afloat. pirate:

This has probably been asked before, but how much does it cost to rent flippers at CC, and I heard you can get boyancy (sp?) vests for free - true? We already have masks and snorkles.
