November 19, 2005 Thanksgiving Magic Cruise

hi-i don't mean to intrude on your thread but i have an offer to a parent or someone traveling with a little one. i am on the magic 11/12-11/19 cruise and will be bringing along a brand new umbrella stroller (with a top that provides rain/sun coverage). it will have only been used a few days at wdw. if someone would like to have this we can make arrangements for me to leave it at the port for them to pickup.

i will have no use for it and can't see hauling it back home. the fabric is "classic pooh" and it will be completly scotch guarded.

if someone is interested p.m. me and we can figure out where you can pick it up at the port.

hope this might help someone else out.

have a great time on your cruise, we promise to leave the ship in good condition

and am also a bit perturbed about the group number thang!

I just keep thinking (sorry to be a downer) about at least 6,000 people on this tiny undeveloped costa maya beach -- all day! We were looking at the ruins but the one place doesn't even give us an option unless we are on one of the other two "designated" arrival cruises! Although DH and I have been to Chitzanitza (sp?) my kiddos haven't seen any ruins.... ohhhh decisions....

i know snorkeling was mentioned at the beach party... is it just swim yourself out in the water and snorkel or do they take you out (i apologize if this was already said!)

Just wanted to say Hi and introduce myself. I am Judy and am traveling with my DD Mindy, age 17. We are from Pottstown, PA, but I work in Lionville, pretty close to you guys. Also I noticed on the Dis list for the cruise that we will be neighbors! We are in 7063, just across the hall. And good news, we got our documents this past Weds, so there is hope for other Pa residents soon!Our door will be decorated, so say hi if you are going by.

Well...let's see, what I can do Molli....Bobdibodibo... ...sprayed some pixie dust and by MONDAY give them the DOCS...gosh darn it!!! (I've been saying that alot lately).

Just be careful with checking out the website on the excursion...it is a little confusing.

I have a question for those with kids that have cruised before....can you leave your kids in the kids club when you dock in different ports? From the DCL website I couldn't tell if it was an option only at CC or everywhere. We can't snorkel with DD but DS can so we either have to take turns or not go at all and it's my one thing I have to do on this trip!!!! Thanks!!!

by the way we will also be on deck 7...depending on which document to believe we either have cabin 7005 or 7007, I guess I'll know when I get my real and true "DOCS." I was told we'd get them 2 wks. prior so I'm not really looking yet, especially since we only booked a week or so ago.

Yall are killin me! You don't know what a Honky Tonk is? I'll bet the Alabama Boy here on the Dis knows what a Tonk is! I guess it is a Southern thang!

OK, OK . A Honky Tonk is a just a red neck expression for a bar. When you go "Honky Tonkin", you are bar hopping. I was saying that we used to "go night clubbing". Only we don't call em bars or night clubs, they are all "Honky Tonks"

Yall need to listen to more Toby Keith, and less Green Bay, Green Day, whatever. Certainly less Alice Cooper!
