Julia,I am with you as well as being several years behind with my scrapbooking.I want to get one of those scrapbooking kits on the boat this time.Have you ever gotten one of them,and what did you think about it if you did?I am off to decorate the house for Halloween as if I don't do it this weekend it won't be done.I am so ready for this cruise!I wish it would get here!Have a great week!

ohMom-Are you taking a scrapbooking class on Friday nights?I found when I did it with a group of people I was able to work on it.Alone I am not doing any of it.I woud like to do a scrapbooking book on one of our cruises.

Scorpio1112-I know you you feel.We had rain on and off from this past Tuesday till today.Today,we finally got to see the sun again.

Hi All!!

Well it didn't rain today but was gloomy and that didn't help my Eagles (LOSS) game at all ... good game to all you Cowboys fans! I have to say they looked great!

Scrapbooking... my, I have several big collage? frames (that is what I usually do) that are empty... I bought them just before we went to Universal in March... but my pics got ruined (not sure if it was the scanners that aren't supposed to hurt them) they all had a big white blurred line through them...

i spent an entire day a few weekends ago rescuing pictures from the picture envelopes after I discovered one where all the pics were stuck together... shame shame... they were from when my DS was a baby! OUCH!

Scorpio1112-I did a big collage for dh parent's one year for their anniversary,and they loved it.I haven't done anything for dh and I as far a collage or scrapbooking.I am so bad.One year I gave my daycare parents a scrapbook.They loved it!My printer hated me that year.They still talk about the books.I am so sorry to hear about your photos.That is awful.That is definitely a big OUCH!((Hugs))I saw Buddybear on the regular board,and they are still gong at least from what I read.I haven't seen them lately on the thread though.

Hello Gang!

Finally got hi speed internet back. No more dial up at work! Yee Haw!
Still no power at home, though. Kelli and girls came back this weekend and we worked our tails off cutting up trees and hauling the limbs to the road for pickup by FEMA. We managed to get the front and back yards looking semi respectable. But I won't be winning any "Yard of the Month" awards! Luckily the weather cooled off a little this weekend. It was nice in the low 80s for highs and mid 60's for lows.
Kelli said the shower she took last night was the coldest water she had been in since snorkeling on CC!
Slowly, slowly, slowly things are returning to normal. A few restaurants are opening and the curfew has been changed to 10:00 PM til dawn. I took the girls out to eat at their favorite place, Tokyo Japanese Grill.

Lots of homes and businesses were destroyed by falling trees or wind damage.

Still no cable at home, so I did not get to watch the Cowboys beat the Eagles. OR the Astros win in 18 innings. This is beginning to suck!

60 shirts ordered? WOW!

Gotta get to work. Busy Monday.

Hey Willie, It's great to hear from you... ...it sounds like you guys are READY for the CRUISE...you need to get away from all that and relax. I wish we were down there helping you out, it's hard to just sit up here and do nothing. Well, I'm glad that you have your family together and things are slowly getting back to normal... is a good sign.

Julia-Thanks for calling today.It was great talking to you.I am glad I am not the only one extremely excited.Come on November!I called dh right away,and I told him we had talked.First words out of his mouth were that is great!

Willie-It is so great to see you on here,and to hear you and family are all back together.I wish we were closer as we would of been there helping you all.We know what you mean about the limbs and yard.We had a share of that last year with Hurricane Frances,Gean and Charlie.It took forever for us to clean our yard,and those were nothing compared to Rita.I am glad things are starting to fall into place for you all.

Lampy is like Casper the Friendly Ghost... he's here then he's gone. You never know when he's going to show up; same thing on the cruise last year. I think all that Miller Lite works some type of magic on him .

Lampskie-It's now October. Isn't this when you said that you were going to call your "girlfriend" regarding table assignments for the dis group? We have one request--we want to be part of the "dis group" and we also want to be at the same table as my college roommate (Suzanne) and her son (Jacob)--their reservation is part of the "dis" link. Hey all!!! Casper Didn't forget 'bout you all, last Sat was Kims B-day and we went downtown Chicago for Ginos East Pizza for dinner and didn't get home 'till 1 a.m. then Sunday I helped the neighbor finish winterizing his boats, then had another b-day at a frineds house (played bean bags and never lost) then had to be at Mom-in-laws by 6 for dinner....ya we were late. Then trying to finalize financing of ANOTHER property I am trying to buy....all morning then here I am AGAIN at work 9-9. I need a . This weekend is our anniversary and we have to go to the covered bridge festival in Rockville Indiana, then the following weekend is DDs fall break......camping from Thurs.-Sunday......sometime between then I have to get these things winterized and in storage before this sailing...........HELP!!!! I'll catch up later.....work, work, work..........
