Tri-Circle-D, I think Gina (gfolchick) is ordering shirts, I will PM her and check.

Julia, thanks for your kind advice. I am so glad to have some experts I can turn to with all my questions!!

Bingo sounds fun, I can't wait! Maybe ds can help me play, or if they don't allow it (or the conversations are of an adult nature :rolleyes1 ), then I'm sure there are other things he can do!

Kids can't technically play bingo... however last year we let ours "help". I had DS post to the teen board this evening. He's looking for some others to meet before the cruise. DD met

It's been cruising weather here, but got cold tonight. Supposed to be 33 degrees tomorrow night. Willie... we're still thinking of you. You may live where hurricanes strike, but at least it's warm year round. The colors are absolutely georgeous here, but that only means one thing.... snow's coming.

Greetings All! :wave2:

I had a thought this evening that I think is worthy of sharing! :rolleyes:

Admittedly this is our very first cruise, Disney or Otherwise, however, I'm sitting here thinking :rolleyes1

that man oh man... the wait for the birth of my children was shorter than this wait!

It better be fantastic!!! :banana:

Changing the countdown banner in my kitchen every single night!! :boat:

Sherri

That's right...I forgot about the LOBSTER...ummm good! :goodvibes

Scorpio-every trip to Disney World and DCL we go to, our DD (12) always make the paper chains out of black, yellow and red colors and we are counting it down also. We rip off each chain per day....it's getting a little closer. :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

And again, anyone who wants Willie's address, please PM me.

Have a happy Thursday....

Julia ::MinnieMo

Sorry for that icon "JESSICA", that's my DD and somehow she sign up on my laptop and I gotta figure out how to change it. :confused3

ok - weird dream

well this part is reality -- i 'taped' a few cruise shows on our DVR to get me pumped up (you know how i need more of that :rolleyes1) so last night DH and I watched a show on travel channel about the largest cruise ship, one of Royal Caribbean, I think Adventurer of the Seas.

so last night I dreamed that Preston (DH) was being sent on a business trip to troubleshoot the Disney Wonder, where they were having severe networking problems and only his expertise would be able to figure it out. I was LIVID! i was like, no way are you going to cruise on the Wonder, work or no work A) before our trip it will spoil it, he'd be all 'been there done that' and B) WITHOUT ME!

we need a vacation :earboy2: princess:

WOW!!! What a thought. Kinda scary :scared: isn't. It's great to hear that you are very excited....believe me, if you rush too much to get there, it will go so fast that it makes you cry. :sad:

Can't wait to meet you all at park...hopefully it won't too cold. Just wearing a sweater and jeans would be perfect.

See you later,

Julia ::MinnieMo

Allright Julia....just log out....top right in the red and go to forums and it will ask you to log back in.....Kim is up for a "meet" at Sullivans but, I work 'till 5 Saturday, can't leave home 'till 6 and would get there at around 8....that means 9 your time......can't leave early this Sat. one of my gals is off......so maybe the next? Let me know!! We ARE going to the covered bridge fest on Sunday....the one day a year I have to "behave"... :rotfl2: I think I"ll bring the vette....this way she can't buy too much...... :rotfl2:

Hi everyone!! We were in Baltimore for the past 6 days staying w/ Chuck's parents. What fun!! I just briefly looked through the posts to the thread and I saw that Willie posted!! I am very happy that he and his family are ok!! I need to catch up w/ the posts more!! Hope everyone is getting excited about the cruise--it's only a few weeks away now that we are in october!! :cool1:

Thanks so much for this tip! We actually already had a chain that has been laying around since last fall ... but one of those kids projects you just can't throw out :confused3

So it was PERFECT :wizard: to use (now I only have 1/2 a chain laying around) we hung it from a plant hook on our porch and boy oh boy the chain is much shorter than I expected :banana:

The kids loved the idea as did I!! Thanks again!

Hi Sherri, It is getting shorter, isn't....I'm ready....well not quite there yet, gotta pack up the bags...oh, that's going to happen very soon, the weather here today is going be in the 60's and raining, so it's going to be getting colder and by then I can pack up the summer stuff. Anyway, I wanted you to know that we actually live about 25 minutes from Cincinnati downtown, so we don't actually live in Cincinnati, it's West Chester, just like you! :rotfl: :rotfl:

See you later,

Julia ::MinnieMo

Hey Lampy, how about the 22nd(Saturday)? Would you be able to leave early from work? Tell your people you suddenly have a Miller withdrawal. :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Let us know so that we can make arrange with our teenagers.

Later,

Julia ::MinnieMo

Hey!!!! is anyone gone for the weekend????!!! :guilty: It's getting pretty :cold: chilly out here...it drop by about 25 degrees and just two days ago it was in the mid eighties.

:teeth: hi julia!

we don't have big plans this weekend -- scrapbooking friday night for me; tonight we're heading all the way across the street to watch the OSU/Penn State game with our neighbors formerly from PA

tomorrow yard work for me and a grooming session for DD in preps for next weekends dog show

same old same old but the days are going so fast and like Lisa said soon we'll be heading to FL!

i have taped some cruise shows off the Travel Channel for my fix! watched the DCL show today but actually fell asleep! time for an update of that show anyhow it highlights ESPN skybox

Hi Julia,

I'm here too... non-stop rain since yesterday afternoon makes for a very dreary weekend! It is supposed to rain tomorrow as well I believe - but at least I have the Eagles game to look forward to...

we went Halloween costume shopping today and of course the requisite food shopping and dry cleaning adventure!

The other big excitement is I went through all DHs clothes and took two huge lawn bags full to donate... (it's been a long time since we've done this---and trust me DH hasn't changed sizes in 15 years! - wish I could say the same :rotfl: ...

so far the kids have pulled two rings since your suggestion!!! My word it is coming quickly!

Even though it is raining it is still very warm here --- in a skort ....

Wishing for a ray of sunshine!

Sherri

Hi Sherri and Molli,

Great to hear from both of you....Sherri, it's sounds like you should be a weather person and you have crazy weather like we have here....the cold weather is coming... :cold:

...anyway, we don't have an exciting weekend either...but my DH has to leave early tomorrow morning to California for business and he will be gone for about a week. ugh!! :crazy2: Staying with three teenagers can be very challenging. Say...does anybody need a teenager??? :teeth: Hey, no matter what, I still love them even though they drive :moped: you nuts.

Molli, I have got to do my scrapbooking...I'm about several years behind...someday I'll catch up...

Well, today we have to take the computer to get repairs on and hopefully they don't keep it too long...but I do have a back up lap computer...

Have a great Sunday!!
