Hi Everyone, we are sooooo excited for this cruise!! It will be #5 for us. We've done 2 on the Wonder for Alaska and the Panama Canel as well as 2 on the Dream to the Carribean. This will be our first on the Fantasy!! Just wanted to say hi! It will be me ( DH 45 ), my wife ( DM 40 ), and our son ( DS 11 ). We will be doing the "Wine and Dine Half Marathon" just before the cruise to earn our "Coast to Coast" medal as well as the Castaway 5k.

We just booked this cruise on our Oct 4th Eastern on the Fantasy. This will our 3rd Disney cruise on the Fantasy. It will be me, DH, DS 8 and DS 6. We have over a year to dream and plan. We were on the Western one in 2013 but it stopped in Costa Maya instead of Jamaica. Excited for a new adventure.

This will be my third Disney cruise! November 2015 is my 60th birthday (I know, it's hard to admit I'm that old!). My family (my four kids, their partners and my six grandchildren) have rented a big house near WDW for two weeks so we can celebrate and have fun in the parks. Then my best friend is flying down, and we'll go on this Fantasy cruise with my youngest son and his wife (they are avid cruisers!). I'd love to meet other DISers on the cruise. Anyone else planning to run the 5K on Castaway Cay? I'm hoping to do it but I will be walking rather than running... I'd also love to hear about any excursions you are planning? I see they have horseback riding with a horseback swim in the ocean at Falmouth - have any of you done that? How challenging is that? Teresa

Hi everyone!
Just got off the Fantasy on Saturday (11/15/14) and booked this cruise while on board. Our daughter got a diz cruise as a college grad gift from her bf and is now hooked! She went in August. So we are making this a family trip! DH & I, DD and soon-to-be SIL and their DS! Can't wait!
DH & I had a fantastic time but I'm looking forward to relaxing more and maybe not so many excursions this time!

Cruise Meet threads are doing just fine still managing meet and FE discussions right here on the DIS as they have since FE began (also here on the DIS).

FE organizers generally need to know how many people (adults/children) are participating in each cabin with child ages for age appropriate gift giving. Other information you would like to share such as names, allergies, favorite characters, etc. is up to you. Other personal information is not really necessary. Those organizing FEs typically ask for the information to be posted in the meet thread or sent to them via PM. For those posting in this Cruise Meet thread to join a FE, if no one comes forward to organize a FE for this cruise, anyone can organize the FE right in this thread.

Greetings fellow Fantasy cruisers. My DW, My self, and as of yet unborn DD will be on the 14 Nov 2015 Fantasy cruise. This will be our second Cruise, Disney Cruise, Cruise on the Fantasy. We were on an Eastern Caribbean cruise last year (Nov 2013).

We can't wait for the cruise and any meet-ups that may occur!

I'm booked on this cruise also. I also moved my dummy cruises a bunch of times and finally settled on this one.

We were originally going to do the Eastern Carribean itinerary last year in November with some friends but we had a baby last June so we canceled it. To our surprise, we also had another baby this year (last month) so things have been pretty busy and hectic at home with 2 infants (and our 8 year old).

Anyway, hope to meet some (or all) of you on the ship.

We have 2 rooms and will be me (the DH), wife, DS (8), DD (2), DD (1), and my MIL. My youngest will just be turning 1 a few days before the cruise!

This is our 4th Disney cruise but all of the other 3 have been on the Disney Wonder. We did a quick 3 day cruise out of Port Canaveral many years ago and went to Nassau and Castaway Cay. We also did a 7 day Mexican Riviera and a couple of years ago we did an Alaskan Cruise.

We are definitely excited to head onto a newer and bigger ship!

We are from Southern California but moved up to Seattle 2 years ago so we live up here in the Pacific Northwest now.

I know we are a little ways out, but we got off the Magic on Dec 14 and booked this cruise. We really loved the smaller ships.. We've sailed on the Magic, and the Wonder 2 times. This is our first venture out onto the bigger ships.

Hello all!

With the holidays over, I'm ready to start getting excited about our next cruise! This will be our 6th with Disney and our 4th on the Fantasy (can you tell how much we love this ship??

When ever someone starts the FE list or the Secret Mickey list, we'd like to be included on both.

We are a family of 4 (2 adults, 11 yr old son and 14 yr old son).

We did this same cruise (ports and all) this past Nov., so ask me any questions you may have! We had so much fun we booked it again so we can do more excursions.

Its been a crazy end of year. I hope we can still make it on this cruise. They have cut my hours at work and let my son go. On top of that my landlord raised the rent. Where in the world will this end. I am a person who will come out on top. Nobody will ever make me give up a Disney trip. We have both been looking for jobs. I will need all the you can send me. Hi everyone! This will be our first cruise and I want to know as much as I can before we get to the ship. My son, Nathan (15) and I (55) are sooo excited about this trip. We are HUGE Disney fans and travel to FL every year (since 2004). We will be following this cruise with 8 days in the parks. I've been reading a little about FEs but not sure yet if we want to participate. We plan to do bobsledding, swim with dolphins and submarine excursions before getting to Castaway Cay. Nathan wants to do 'teen' stuff there...leaving me to myself. Our room is on deck 5 near the Vibe! Hope this is a good choice (please don't tell me if it's not...don't want to worry about it before we get there.)

Looking forward to meeting others who love Disney as much as we do!!

There is certainly plenty of time to plan a FE for this cruise. All it takes is for someone to maintain a list of/for those participating which can easily be done in this thread. Cruise Meet threads have been doing it this way for years now here on the DIS.
