November 12, 2011 - Magical Double Dip!

Thank you for the great welcome.

Just to add my comments about the Dream since we just sailed back in May. I didn't find it too big. I actually found it easier to get around and find the different clubs than the Wonder.
I rode the AquaDuck three times. There were times when the wait was long but other times the line was less than 20 minutes. When I saw the line was short I ran back down to cabin on deck two and changed and got back to ride before the line got long again.
I didn't notice CC to be any more crowded than my previous cruise. Had no problem finding beach chairs with umbrella.

So looking forward to first cruise on the Magic and first 7 day with a double dip to boot.

I'm kind of torn between the ships thing. I've only been on the smaller ships, and I do HATE crowds. BUT the Fantasy has some pretty cool stuff that I'd love to checkout. I'm not sure how I feel about it yet, still debating on booking a cruise onboard, and what/where to do it. :confused3

We are definitely planning to rebook onboard, we decided to book for the Fantasy. I love the Magic but I also love trying different ships!:goodvibes In my opinion no cruise can be all that bad!:thumbsup2 We plan to just book a dummy date and then adjust as needed. We actually booked this cruise back in June 2009 and then changed the date 4 times!!! :lmao:

Woohoo about the Dream!!!! Sounds like a blast!:cool1: I can't wait to eventually sail on the Fantasy! I think you will love the Magic, it is simply wonderful !:goodvibes

I'm so glad to hear other opinions about the dream. We plan to rebook on board also. My dream would be to do the Hawii cruise.:cloud9: I don't think there will be one to book in Nov. But we'll book a date and change it accordingly.

We're booked on the Hawaii - really looking forward to it.

Hoping Castaway Cay is back in good shape for our cruise - glad it is a couple months in the future, now.

Does anyone know if there is a recent Navigator for this cruise available?? We want to look at things for our kids and plan some things according to what's going on each day!!!

Oh man, only 14 days for you!!

I wish I had paid attention to that Hawaii cruise, because I looked at it, and thought it was a re positioning cruise or something. I didn't notice it was a a round trip one or I would have JUMPED on it, :sad2:

Everything on day 2 is the same except we'll be in CC?? :confused3

Is anybody requesting a certain dinner rotation?? :confused3

You can plan from the old ones, but let it be loose planning, because things won't be exactly the same

:welcome:!!! and congratulations on the marriage!! I added you guys to our cruiser list as well:thumbsup2

When you say dinner rotation, do you just mean the 1st or second seating?

You can actually request the rotation of the restaurants that you dine in. Most people want to be in Parrot Cay on Pirate night and Lumière's on formal night.

Is it time yet??? I am sooo ready for this cruise! :cool1:

Man I WISH!!!!!:yay:

I'm looking for the rotations available for our cruise, but haven't found them!! :confused3 I'm going to call and ask!!! :goodvibes

Just got off the phone with DCL, and as of today the dining rotations will be:

Rotation #1: PLAAPLA
Rotation #2: LAPPLAP
Rotation #3: APALLAPL

I think we're going to request #1 as it only puts us in Lumiere's twice, and it puts us in Parrot Cay on Pirate night, as well as Animators Palate three nights!!

I'm so excited my DW calls it my "Freak out mode" i love to plan down to the detail and this is our first cruise....4 hrs 28 min until midnight!:dance3:

No, It's the order in which you do the different restaurants.

The' ideal rotation' puts you in Parrot Cay for Pirate night and Lumieres for Formal night, but I think I'll just trust to luck.

I used to get real OCD about planning everyday, but it stresses my wife out to have everyday planned out.

This go round I basically made some dinner reservations at the parks for the week before the cruise, and a couple Palo res's for the boat.

I know ONE thing that going to happen, and I've planned for the boat. The freaking kids club! My two 4-year olds are getting dropped in there like nobody's business, :lmao:

I love my kids, but the childcare on a boat makes it so we can have some real vacation time, :rotfl2:

Is it midnight yet?
