November 12, 2011 - Magical Double Dip!

Ya know this REALLY shouldn't be such a hassle, it was easy breezy when I did it for my DSis 2 weeks ago.

I CAN'T STAY UP MUCH LONGER!!! I HAVE TO HELP TEACH SUNDAY SCHOOL IN THE MORNING!!!

This is so crappy!!!! You wait and wait and wait for these bookings to open and then you sit up half the night, all for nothing really! And of course the customer service is CLOSED....I MEAN REALLY?????

Well, I can't do this any more!! :sad2: Please let me know what time you get checked in!! I'm going to try and get up early enough to try again!!!

Good Night!!!

Ok so it is now 3:25am and I just completed mine and my Dad's online check-in. Evidently access to that does not open until 3:01am......learn something new everyday! Glad I am done and got us the early boarding time which was my main concern. We are traveling as a group and since my DSis is gold her bookings opened 2 weeks ago and I did her check-in ensuring that she got the early boarding time, so I really wanted us to all be able to go the port at the same time. Mission accomplished!!!! Now bed:lmao:

I have to do one cabin at a time since we have 5 cabins connected on our booking!! But I'm JUST booking for my DS, DD, DW and myself!!!

even if they're linked, you should be able to select only your family members and go ahead with it. I'm linked to 7 adults, but when my platinum booling time came up, I booked for just us two, quite easily.

also, I learned that once you've logged in, no one - not your party members and not Disney, can get into your account until you've been logged OUT for half an hour.

I'm so sorry y'all had such a frustrating time of it.

WOW!!! CONGRATS!! I'm glad I didn't stay up, I'd be a puddle this morning with 2-3 yo in Sunday School!!! :scared1:

We got 11:00am arrival time!!! :yay: Is that the earliest??? :confused3 Not that I think we could be there earlier, I was just curious!! :rolleyes1

Well, I got a Palo brunch reserved last night, but I could get checked in until this morning. I did get an 11am terminal/boarding time though! It had boarding times listed all the way out until 3:30, I didn't know they went that late!

:woohoo:

I believe 11am is the earliest time that they will let you in the terminal now.

I know this new system was created because of the larger ships, so I wonder if it will get us on-board more efficiently. I'd love to be able to show up at my appointed time and basically get on the ship!

Yay!!!!!:woohoo:

I got an email from my TA this morning and she said that the boarding times were put in place for the larger ships and that as of now it isn't really being enforced. SO I will be interested to see if it is in fact different.

I just stumbled across this thread while browsing the internet. My family will also be on this cruise. This will be our very first cruise ever. We always said if we ever went on a cruise, it would have to be a Disney Cruise, and, voila. My only concern is that it will be so wonderful we'll have to go every year.

My daughter is 18 and a huge Disney fan. I'm hoping that there are things for her to do, since she's in that "in between" age group.

Welcome! We went on our first last year. I was not interested in cruises and told DH I'd only go if it was a Disney cruise. We LOVED it and now are on this cruise and already talking about when and where to do the next.

Thank you. Really looking forward to it, and already thinking of budget for next year

I'm booking our next cruise when we're on this one to take advantage of the discounts and credits!!! :woohoo:

My DW wants to know what night they generally do the "formal" night as she wants to get a nice family picture with the white background!?!?!

GOOD Morning, Happy Cruisers!

I just stumbled across this thread while browsing the internet. My family will also be on this cruise. This will be our very first cruise ever. We always said if we ever went on a cruise, it would have to be a Disney Cruise, and, voila. My only concern is that it will be so wonderful we'll have to go every year.

Welcome aboard! Your daughter will be able to participate in all the adult events - she just won't be allowed to drink alcohol on ship. There is generally a college 'meet up' on the first or second day. Also a few times, there will be a 'singles mingle' lunch, with a cast member. Many of the cast members are close to her in age, - and, at least the members of the stage cast, are allowed to use the adult pool when it's not busy (ie port days).

My DW wants to know what night they generally do the "formal" night as she wants to get a nice family picture with the white background!?!?!

I'm thinking since this cruise is a double dip, Formal night will probably be the night of the first sea day.

You won't be disappointed in the white background photos - they make EVERYONE look good (see my family photo a few pages back)

Happy Day, all!
