November 12, 2011 - Magical Double Dip!

Good Morning all -

We have changed our sailing date so we won't be sailing with you. We decided to rebook for next June - and since we were making a change - we're going to sail on the Dream!!

Have fun - not much longer now!

:woohoo: Enjoyed a lovely yet windy day today with temps in the 50s. Yippee!!! :cool1: Hope all of you with the nasty white stuff are getting a reprieve as well. Looks like good ol' Pux Phil might've been right. :thumbsup2

Glad to hear there are some new folks joining this trip. Double dips are the best in my opinion. :cool2:

Has anyone thought about mouse ears / hats yet for their stateroom door? I've started thinking about it and have seen some really cute ones out there. When I'm back on my desktop I'll post the link.

And I hope Ruley's DD feels better real soon!!!

I have been looking at the stateroom ears too! I just ordered my magnetic paper from Amazon 2 days ago!:goodvibes I have seen some pretty cool ones as well, I found them here on the boards under this thread:
http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2172891

I would love to see more if you have different ones!:thumbsup2 And April's DD3 is doing ok, sporting that hot pink cast all the way up to her little elbow:sad2: But she's a trooper!:flower3:

Good Morning, Happy Cruisers!

13 degrees and the wind is blowing a gale:scared1:

I think it's a good day to stay in by the fire!

Brrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!:scared1:

Sorry to lose you guys from the group, but have an awesome cruise on the Dream next year!!!:grouphug:

As I mentioned I ordered my magnet paper a couple of days ago (yes I am an OCD planner;) ) and also went ahead and got the lei's I will be handing out at the meet & greet and the name tags as well, I am so excited to get things going for this cruise!!!:banana::banana: I can't wait!!:yay:

Good Morning, Happy Cruisers!

25 degrees and no wind this morning - practically a heat wave!

Plan for the day - get to the gym and work out - that 15 pounds is going NO WHERE unless I do more and stick with it.

Happy Day, all!

Good Morning, Happy Cruisers!

Definitely not the only ocd planners! I have a travel spreadsheet for every year since 2001, lol.

The points I need to ponder for this trip
There will be 3 kids under 6, one age 9 and one teenager (we usually don't travel with any)
This is our 4th Western and our friends 3rd. Need to find something new.
Table for 12!
We're a bilingual party and a couple of us don't speak Spanish at all :( (I Speak a little from 3 years in high school, but I've bought a "listen in the car" set of CDs to upgrade that- wish me luck)

Happy Day, all!

Always something to challenge your vacation planning skills;) Keeps ya on your game!:lmao:

I would only change to a newer ship if it were to the Fantasy, I could not go on anything less than 7 days!!! I think you are making an awesome choice for you guy's first cruise! I love the Magic, it is a beautiful classic ship, this will be our 3rd time sailing her and I cannot wait!!!:banana: And 2 days at CC is such a bonus!:thumbsup2 I would stick with this cruise for a few reasons, the price being a big one for us anyway;) and if you switch sailings you won't get to sail with all us AWESOME people!!!!!!:rotfl: And besides that you can always go on this cruise book your next one while on-board and get the awesome OBC and discount and use it on one of the newer ships!!!:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

I could not agree more. We have never been on the short cruises and as much as we'd like to try one of the new ships, we can't go for less than 7 days!

SO AGREE!!! I could not do less than 7 days we did a 5 day on RC and it was so short, there is so much to do on Disney ships 3 or 4 days never enough, we'v been on Magic twice and going on our 3rd this year both times we did totally differnet stuff... and still haven't done it all, I would love to see the Dream but 3 days for a bigger boat?? no way I will wait for Fantasy and 7 days!!!

7 days or more!!:thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

On another note.....I certainly wish JetBlue would open up their dang bookings for November!!!:rolleyes1 I am soooooo impatient!!!:lmao: Only 261 days til we get to the Radisson!!! Woohoo!!!!:cool1::woohoo::yay::dance3:

I saw some really neat apps for language translators the other day if you've got an iPhone!

It's been awhile since I've been on this thread. I was looking at my travel plans for my 20th Anniversary and I'm getting pretty excited now! I can't wait to visit Castaway Cay 2x's! :lovestruc

Hello all! We just changed our cruise dates so we are now on your cruise! Woo hoo! We were originally going late Nov/early Dec because the point of the cruise for us is to celebrate DS's 1st birthday. After much debating I decided that going a few weeks early would still be celebrating for him and so it was worth the change to get the extra day at Castaway. Our last cruise (and first ever) was when our DD was 18 months and it was her favorite part. There will be 4 of us.

Me- Cassandra (28)
DH- Justin (26) (Yes I married a younger man....haha)
DD- Carrington will be 3 months shy of turning 3 when cruising
DS- Will be 11.5 months on the cruise

Welcome aboard, Princess! Aren't yOU going to have your hands full with two little ones! I'll look for you at the Mickey pool, lol.

Welcome to the party, Firefly & Buckeye Princess!

Hope everyone has been well. Work has been nuts the last 2 weeks, so sorry for the disappearing act. I'm here to report that I believe we saw sun this week! (And, a tornado) I suppose you take the good w/ the bad. :)

DH is in California this week on biz, so I actually have a little time to myself and catch up. Miss him, yes. A little time to unwind, woohoo! :)

Going on a company trip to Cancun in April. Hopefully, that'll tide us over 'til Nov! We're so sun-deprived that I actually went out and bought one of those artificial sunlight lamps. No joke. One side of my face now has more freckles than the other, but I'm getting better sleep. Again, take the good w/ the bad. :)

Hope all is well with everyone!!

Toodles!
