Well I am glad to see the clocks were corrected.
We had to announce over the radio to the Police Officers to change their clocks/watches.
The medics and the Fire personell were told it was 0100 again so they would remember. Now I find a Dis member did not remember. Oh no !!!!!

That gave me an extra hour on the dis boards last night - not that many of you were with me. I know in spirit.

I hope everyone remembers to take their vitamins so we do not get sick
before we set sail. Pleanty of water and some sleep. It would suck to be sick on the trip. Sleep is not on the plans.. Fun, Party, Movies , greetings
and a great 7 days..... After all we worked hard to get to this vacation .

Yeah, poor Zonies (people from Arizona) we can't remember what time y'all are on, ever... since we never have to change. I remember being in Indian growing up and 1/2 the state was on one time and another part on another... so my life has been very confused by day light savings.

I use AIRBOURNE when I travel to keep me healthy... a flight attendant told me once use that or put neosporin inside your nostrils when you fly to keep the bacteria from getting into your system. Worked for her!

Ok, off to the MALL to get my new cooking utensils. My DH is busy making his "chicken/rice" meal for pot luck at one of his clients this week. A man who cooks, a LOVELY THING!

Hey where can I get one of those. My husbands idea of cooking is Sonic :rotfl:

Have a blessed day.

When I was young I used to work for the government in the financial department. And everytime we changed the clocks here I had to remember that Indianapolis didn't. One part of the year we were the same time the other part we were an hour apart

Alright !!!!!
Due to the Demand and condolence I have decided to pack Winnie the
Pooh ties. Just in case he wanted to sport them.. ha ha
This is great he will be so happy to wear my favorite buddy around his
neck, like a boat anchor. I guess he has lived with the Pooh all over the
house a little Pooh on the Magic should improve it some.
What the hay??? Who incouraged her?? I want to know NOW!!!!! :furious:

Do you all realize what you have done. We have had her in a 12 step Winnie The Pooh withdrawl program and now she has had a major relapse :sad2:

We are back to the beginning.

Win, remember, Pooh is fictional. Say it over and over.. It will be alright, I promise.

Should not be a problem. Having a techie problem at the moment, but have no fear we will be up and running very soon. :thumbsup2

Okay, another question maybe somebody can answer....

trying to do online checkin. It asks for payment info, of course. If I'm using rewards card $$, should I put in CC or cash? I want the money on my rewards cards to be taken off first then I'll pay whatever we spend after that, I'm just not sure if that is how it works? If I put in my CC I'm afraid they'll just start charging it instead of using my rewards. I could avoid that worry by putting "cash", but I wasn't planning on carrying that much cash for stuff on board and wanted to avoid that, too.
So, what is it I do? Will they use reward dollars first not matter what type payment you put in?
Thanks,
Melanie

On my last DCL cruise I too paid with DRP. I put my CC# down on check in and then went to the desk and had the DRP's applied to my account. There was no problem and they NEVER charged my CC account. In fact I even added some of my DRP's to my Dsis' account with no problem. They used the DRP's first!

Well it certainly is a quiet night.

Shelly and Woho.. how was the party and were the costumes a success?

Where has Jack been? Did he really cancel his trip?

Jackie was there only one Martini tasting? I am off to try and finish up before DS and I go at it. I am taking a class next time so I can learn the language and be more independent.

Here's my understanding of how it works from what I've read on the DIS. Stateroom credits are used/applied FIRST, rewards $$ and cash next. If you put CASH on your form, you give them a hunk of cash and guest services will contact you when your 'cash reserve' gets low so you can apply more CASH. So you would need to bring LOTS of cash!

If you use a credit card, the stateroom credits/rewards/gifted money all get applied THEN your credit card would be charged with the balance. And, of course, if you have cash left at the end of the trip, you can apply that and whatever is left over would be charged to your card.

If anyone has personal experience using multiple sources of $$, please chime in!

You know, Wendy, she was screaming bloody murder and her Dad had to run fast to get back to her. Poor little thing, when she stopped rolling she realized that she'd lost a shoe and was hopping back to get it, still screaming. I think it shook all of us up a little. There are signs on the tram to not seat children on the ends and I believe the driver made a garbled announcement to that effect. But, the driver was going FAST around the corner. Prompted an interesting discussion on liability with DS8, who couldn't understand why the family might try to get compensation when, to his mind, the little girl should NOT have been sitting on the end. Just got back from WDW and I was wondering WHY they kept emphasizing to keep those darlin' kids in the middle - scarey!!!

Good morning all!
Just a little about does anyone's family think the Dis a little weird? quesion.
I have a the pleasure of meeting Jacie and a few other AMAZING Diser's on our cruise last year. Infact it was Jackie who told me about this cruise and we just had to tag along  . Yesterday I had the honor of meeting Hannosmom her DH, chichihoney and grayfal. We had a wonderful afternoon at DTD and I felt like I was hanging out with "old friends" We had the priveledge of seeing Sarah become a royal princess at the Bibitty bobitty Boutique. princess: AMAZING!! Vito jr got to talk with her about their mutual love for toontown and pin collecting. We can not wait till we meet again on the cruise. They were a wonderful distractoin to our difficult day today. Angelina is finally going for her MRI (with sedation) and today will be a very LONG day. I had to wake her at 4:30 am to give her her Meds because she can not eat anything after 5am and no drink after 9am :sad2: . Her test is not untill 2:30pm .. Crazy! Any way wish us luck.
Michelle, it was SOOOOOOO nice meeting your family the other day - look for your fellow New Yorker on the cruise (Dee ays we MUST stick together! :rolleyes1 )

::yes:: There is beer, wine and margarita tastings on BOTH sea days (and some overlap) but only one martini was listed for 4PM Monday. NOW, I've heard that if they get a big response, sometimes they add stuff when the space and crew are available. I also believe in one of the adult bars you can actually order a martini flight....think I read that in a trip report somewhere.

Am I GREEN with envy? Peg just came home from the SCOTTSDALE Disney Store with a Capt. Jack t-shirt. Actually, maybe I'm luckier....I get to look at it while she's wearing it! :thumbsup2 I hope she doesn't mind me staring at her chest. ;)

The DIS lunch numbers are climbing! We're up to about 50 people (Wendy's crowd helped with that number)! And there are still some folks who expressed interest earlier that I haven't heard from yet. I'm throwing some lime green baloons and yarn into the box I'm shipping down, perhaps we can tie them to the backs of some chairs, so we'll be easy to spot. (May not be necessary, as we'll probably be easy to HEAR.)
