Well, I see you all have been very busy today and trip planning appears to be in full swing.

I also see I owe txaggie a dring for being the 4000th post. I see it took you a few posts to get there, but you are a trooper and hung in there.

Next goal is 5500. That is approx 62 posts a day and I do not think we will be attaining that. However, if some of those lurkers would stop by and say hello. It might just help. :thumbsup2

We have early rotation and like most of you, have asked for APL. At this point I do not think I really care what rotation. I just want to go.

I am starting to feel stress as I think about all that needs to get done. We need to get my DSIS packed up becasue she closes as soon as we get back and then we close on our new home a couple days after that. Our walk through is the Monday we return from the cruise.

I still have not finished the door magnets, mailed my box, packed anything or tried on stuff to see what fits. I still have to finish the pirate costumes and the tag bags as well as the trip planning stuff for my group.

All in all I would say I NEED this vacation. :rotfl:

I am thinking of changing our p/u time at the hotel to 9am as there will be a few of you at the port and it would be nice to mingle.

Hello!!!

Why is the apl dinner rotation so popular? We have early seating.

It is so popular becasue you will be in Lumineres/Triton (cannot remember which one is on the Magic at this point in the day) on formal night.

I sure hope all the hotels have the proper organization skills to pick everyone up and that the requests for wheel chairs access etc will be handled properly. Those of you concerned I would just place a call in a couple days before hand - to make sure they are aware ... not much else you can do. Unless you forfeit that concept and just hire a towne car or something.

I'm looking forward finally to dinner at Victoria and Alberts... I had to work myself up to it, eating late after flying all day, but I know I'll be ok. And what a great experience to start the trip eh?

HAPPY POSTING!

Now I'm upset. My company's internet has been down all day and I was suppossed to be the 4000th post! :furious: :badpc:

Now I'll just have to use my automated testing tools to run a script and post a note every 5 mins untill I hit 5500. [/techno geek]

Jackie, I got the bands today. Thank you very much. As everyone else has said, they look great. Thanks for organizing this. Now when I walk around the boat I'm going to be looking at everyones wrist to see if they are DISers.

Any more news about upgrades? Someone posted on the main board that they were upped from a cat 6 to a cat 4 on our criuse. I'm still hoping that I can move up from my cat 9 to a verandah. Hopefully the cost won't be to high at checkin and I can actually afford to pay for it then.

Jack

Jack, How sad. I guess it was not meant to be. :confused3 If you hit the 5500 post I will still buy you a drink at the sailaway. Like I said earlier, I am doubtful we will make that.

Geez...now I'm a little worried, too. Crowds of people vying for the same spots on a shuttle is not going to go over well with Surly (he'll live up to that name in a situation like that). But, worse, would be seeing your family having to strongarm others just to get Angelina a space! Hmm...maybe we'll pretend we're from NY and part of your group, Michelle. Strength in numbers, right?:)

Carolyn
Thanks Carolyn.. You brought a smile to my face..Actually a little chuckle. With My 2 Vito'sand the rest of our NY crew I am sure we will be OK.But I am always looking for a little more help from my friends. I am going with the mind set NO WORRIES everthing gonna be ok!

Peg Victoria and Albets sounds like an amazing way to start you trip!!I am not to worried about the shuttle. Worse case Vito Sr will drive us over and for go the "free parking" at the Raddison.I think it would be cool to be in a shuttle filled with all of these wonderful people. There is nothing like the feeling of first seeing the ship...I can't wait to have that feeling again.

Seems like most of you have requested Late seating but we're on the Early one.... we've done both and overall prefer the earlier. BUT, now that I see that can be as early as 5:30pm (We requested APL, too), I'm a little worried. I'm no Speedy Gonzales when it comes to getting ready for dinner... and now, add the 10-month old in the picture and forget it! :rolleyes1

Attention early (main) seating folks.

If you request APL you will get THE FIRST time in the rotation. If you would prefer to be the latest of the early (;) ) you should request LAP. APL will put you in Luminere's on formal and semi-formal nights, but you will be eating pretty darn early!

EDITED TO ADD; Just checked the first double dip Navigator. First seating at the APL rotation is 5:30PM (PLA is 5:45 and LAP is 6P). So you just have to decide if TIME or location for certain theme nights is more important to you.

I could deal with that earlier time.
