Today is October 10th., which to my mind, is one month before November 10th.

And November 10th., is the day before our cruise, and the day we will be flying into Orlando International Airport.

We will spend the night of the 10th., at the Orlando Hyatt, and be fresh and ready to board the DVC bus, the next day.

It is hard to believe that a year and a half has come and gone, since we placed our deposit down on this cruise.

See you all there.

I agree - one month in my mind too! YIPEE - I'm lucky I only had to wait 10 months!

Where is Jackie with the offical count down :confused3

We are staying at the Marriott Residence Inn the night before, is anyone else? Also we rented from Avis and have to return the van, has anyone used them before, if so how fast was the return to the ship, should I use a taxi or wait for them to bring me back?? Hope to chat with you all tonight….

Does anyone know if she's posted recently - and is she coming on the cruise -?

I was just going back to some of the original notes on the thread - and before I forget

THANK YOU PAT!!!! For starting this thread - ;)

Nope, House of Princesses is not going on our cruise (so sad).

As for the Residence Inn, from what I remember hearing so far... it is just FlyMV and the "vanv" family (as well as one other family traveling with ours). Anyone else???

I'll likely be about 30-40 minutes late to chat (if anyone is still chatting then). PTA meeting tonight to re-cap our Fall Festival that was last Friday (happy that event is over)!

That is very sad. But thanks Wendy! I'm going to try and chat - and you know us West Coasters (ok, AZ isn't exactly West Coast - but someone threw us in the bunch and I kinda like that bunch!!!) We'll be up late - so please stop by!

We'll be at RonJon's Thursday & Friday before the cruise. If anyone else is staying there, I'll have my bracelet on so feel free to say hi. :wave2:

anyone else having cruise Dreams? OMG, we are almost there :woohoo:

So will the next couple of weeks fly by or crawl? COME ON NOVEMBER!!!

I've had a couple of dreams....but don't really remember them when I wake up!

I think the time will fly, and in spite of a year to plan, I'll be freaking out about something that last week. :rotfl2: I just made a chart at work today so I can make notes on what needs to be done each of the weekends between now and then. Oh, lord, better order my Crocs tomorrow....forgot to put that on the list!

We got our confirmation on Friday. It's all signed and back to DCL today. Expecting to get our marriage license paperwork from the Court sometime this week so we can get it notarized and returned for issuance. Our ceremony is set for Thursday 4:00 p.m. at Sessions. Don't worry, we have early dining rotation so we'll get out of there ASAP for ya' if it rains...if not....you'll have alot more guests :rotfl:

Civil ceremony in the Terminal Sat. 11/11 @ 3 p.m......sorry...no guests...just him and me allowed.... :sad2:

This is so nice. Newly weds on board. I'm sure whether it rains or not it will be lovely day, ceremony and reception. Rain on your wedding day is supposed to mean good luck, so they say. Best of luck and hope to meet you on board sometime. You'll have to come out for air at least once. :rotfl2:

You could always renew your vows to yourselves while at sea. We are taking this as sort of a late honeymoon. We never got around to the honeymoon part and it has been two years. I think while at sea we will do that too. It is always nice to remind each other how you feel and how we should be towards each other. You don't need an audience. Just you both, whoever you believe in and the ocean as your witness.

It is always stressful. Just do it. Should be less stressful this time not as many people. (did someone mention there was 2700 + on board don't tell Spotdude) :rotfl2:

I've had a cruise dream! I dreamt that I forgot all my dinner clothes. :rotfl2: I kept thinking "Where is my new dress for formal night?" Of course if that were to happen I would be way more freaked out than I was in the dream!

We are also staying at the residence inn the night before the cruise. Along with OBX1AB. So far we are thinking about having dinner at Grills but I am looking at a few other restaurants too.

I am going to try and get the button machine this week from the lady who has it. She is a little flighty so I don't know. If for some reason this falls through because of her I'll let you all know. If everything is fine I think I should mail them to everyone. I am going to the post office to weigh a few and I can let everyone know how much depending on how many are being sent. As soon as I find out all the details I'll post what is going on.

We're staying there, as well as at least 5 families from our group. I'm also returning a car to Avis on Saturday morning. I called the shop and the manager said I should bring the car to them, and take their van to the port. I was planning on droping the wife and kids off first, but he said don't do it, to much traffic, and not worth the effort.

If anyone else has tried this, please let me know which is better!

Jack
