I hope Ernesto pass though quickely with out damage. We wanited and watched and luckily nothing but a little rain and wind. But we been through enough to know that they are no fun. Stay safe.

I love the idea of the Tag type game. I am not really sure how it works but it sounds like fun.
On our local new this morning the Disney Wonder had a CM arrested yesterday for exposing himself. Very sad. they said he was a CM for the past 1 and a half. Disney will be all over the PM news tonight. The local news loves to talk bad about Disney whenever they can. I was really not liking the idea of Vito jr checking himself out of the clubs and this just reinforces my fears.

The rain has stopped and the water is receding. It will be time to check the damage. The neighbor lost some shingles and had his roof leak.

Hey Everybody!

One of my fellow DisCruisers surprised us all by attaching Mickey ears around the center circle (door number) on all our doors; it was So Cool!!! She also made us all great nautical letter magnets for our names.

The latest I have seen is that it will pass over Western NY / Eastern PA this will leave Central MA with heavy rain 2-8 inches and sustained winds upto 35 with gusts to around 50. A great wesite to look at weather is intellicast on the web. It is the general public site that those in aviation use. If you are close to worcester then put ORH in the upper right side of the home page and if you are closer to westfield then put BAF. Good Luck.

AARRGGGHHHH!!!! (and I don't mean that in a pirate way!!!). I spent 30 minutes trying to resize that thing, and it kept showing up HUGE! sigh. back to the drawing board..


Okay, I fixed it; not perfect, but at least not too too huge nor too too tiny (geez, it's like Alice in Wonderland..)

OK, two days ago I spent half my lunch hour cutting out circles to see what would be the right size to do with the door # circle! Thanks PoohJen, now I KNOW what will work! I added the ears and letters to my door sign wants but I haven't even begun to start door signs. I want to but just haven't had time. I'll have plenty of time here soon since I'm scheduled for "female" surgery on the 20th. I'll probably drive Dave crazy with questions and asking for help but a girl needs something to do!

I did mark one more thing off of my cruise list and registered the dog at the doggie hotel. I call it a hotel because they spoil these dogs rotten!

I am going to start our door signs today. I have a few ideas that i need to work on my DW has several rough drafts on the not book she has been working on at work.

For those making door signs, a friendly suggestion:
Don't put anything on your door that you wouldn't mind losing.

On our prior cruises, door signs have been rearranged, moved or taken. On one cruise, our friends' DD made a door sign, and she was devastated when it was stolen.

Teens apparently pull this prank.

Effortlessly work 10 hours overtime for extra spending money

Break an old habit/form a new one

Brush up on/learn some Spanish

Whew, we are back! Woke up Friday to no internet, phone, cable, or cell service, and the tide coming into my yard. About an hour after that we lost electricity.

Luckily Ernesto came in at low tide, (unlike Isobel) so we didn't get any water in our house. We got electricity back on about 10 pm last night, cell phone this morning, and the internet back about 2:00 this afternoon. We've spent most of the day cleaning up debris (lots of broken tree limbs) in our yard and our elderly neighbors yard. It's amazing the things that end up in our yard after a flood. Over the years we've ended up with about 7 basketballs, lots of kiddie toys, and amazing amounts of lumber. This time it was just some pears (?) a milk jug, a juice box, and a huge piling (the kind you tie boats to) with the rope still on it. Luckily it wasn't still attached to the boat.
