Welcome back to the Carolyn! Looking forward to 'our' tour.....now I just have to start my fitness training! Back to using the stairs at work


I just cancelled my Amazon order for the new PassPorter....they aren't shipping till JUNE 12TH!! So I'm buying it direct from PassPorter and spending the exta $$ to get it sooner.


Guess what I'm doing this weekend:

......my TAXES.....yes, Miss Procrastination here! Don't know why...I use TurboTax and it doesn't take all that long. I do have medical stuff this time and I think I just don't want to 're-live' that experience while going through the paperwork!

Well Kris and Jackie you are in good company. I worked on my taxes till 2 a.m. and am still not done. I also have to do DSis and DBil as well. I do have most of theirs done. In between all this I am still painting, packing and purging.

Chichihoney and I still manage to make it to chat and we sit there, waiting and hoping that someone else will join us. Did I mention that we sit here waiting and waiting and no one joins us?

I am up for group if anyone else is. I have dvr the amazing race (which I have not watched in 3 weeks because of this darn house) so Tuesday is still good for me.

Well I will await everyone decision about chat.

Thank you Sarah for being there and chatting with me. I look forward to meeting you. Maybe when you get back we can meet for lunch or something.

I hope to get mine done tomorrow, on my day off, and DDs have tomorrow off amd I prommised DD8 that I'd take her to ride her dirt bike if her grades were good and well we are on our way some time tomorrw.
Unfortatnly I can not download anything it the puter at work. The last time I lost a very lage portion of my butt getting it chewed off by our IT Guy.
Oh well on to my question. There is two times for free drinks? I know the CC members get together. There is another my sister enlaw was asking me about CC club member stuff. I guess she never recieved her packet ether. Is there anyother CC club member things on the cruse.

Spotdude, two free drink opportunities are the CClub gathering and the Captains Gala (which I think is Thu). Also there will be a C-Club 'gift' in your stateroom (got my fingers crossed that it's still a tote bag.....that's what I want).

Dee, regarding chat. I'm up for any night, now that I have a time zone change (or because I DON'T have one) chat will be at 7P for me (like the left coast people). Tuesday night we will never see Peg....that's Gilmore Girls night! I've been missing in action lately because of house guests and then catching up on work.

My taxes are done. I have to double check all the numbers and then mail it out tomorrow. I think whom ever gets our money should be ashamed, but that is just my opinion.

I hope everyone has a great weekend and a wonderful Easter (if you celebrate it). I hope to get my house done and listed on Saturday, but I lost to flipping days doing taxes (that I did not want to do).

All right allready enough on the house and the taxes, find something else to complain about.

Okay you do not have to be so mean. Gosh my evil twin can really be pushy sometimes.

Well, like I was saying (before I was so rudely interrupted) I hope everyone has great weather as well. We are looking at some possible thunderstorms and much needed rain.

Just thought I'd pop in while Im doing Saturday chores. I'm VERY excited about the ruin tour with cute David (or Ivan if we get him). And that all of you who signed up will be with us! What great fun! I cannot wait!

I am now thinking of getting my own mask for snorkeling... the funky stuff y'all have been talking about...YUCK. I can stand it on my feet - bleach should handle that, but face - breathing stuff? NO WAY! Dee- I'm OCD managable - I used to take the (little blue pill) for it, but no longer! Whew, it helped get me over the hump of depression..ok never mind... I'm good now, and that's all that matters right? I can tell I've been boring people with my posts (not getting responses to questions, etc) and I promise I'll stop that!

Ok, so one of the guys at work that I'm getting to know better is a DISNEY nut! He his DW and DS's (twins) have every dvd disney ever made, so I told Jackie we have a source to borrow flicks from. We went to the movies last night after getting off work early, and we both almost had coronaries.(sp?)
$$$$ 9 bucks for a matinee!!!????? COME ON!

Is anyone else just sick over the amount of money these actors, directors and producers make? ENOUGH ALREADY! I love the movies, but this is insane.

That new BOSE system and new recliner chairs for my "great" room seem less expensive now. I'm re-thinking the home theatre experience! Plus I love pausing... and home made popcorn? Seriously, I'm having trouble convincing myself, because people I LOVE THE MOVIES!

I cannot wait to see the entertainment on board! Is there a way to find out what we might get to see? Show wise? Jackie? (my sister has all the answers).

Hopefully she's doing her taxes right now. And coloring her hair...guilty: - but truly in need!)

Oh - one more thing, summer hiatus will be upon us soon and THEN I will be totally available for chat nights on Tuesday! So I look forward to exchanges then! I think only one more week of new shows for Gilmore Girls, and I'm thinking this might be the last year, does Lorelai irriate anyone else these days? I do dig LUKE - OH MY GOD....

I thought I read that even to watch you had to pay regular prices - thus my issue. I would like to try it but there's no way I can afford to pay to have everyone watch me. I'll keep you posted on what I find out!

Happy Easter to all. Mother Nature held off the rain until about 20 minutes ago so we had a beautiful day! I hosted dinner for my mom and stepdad which was nice. We've been able to do it quite often lately.

Things are busy here - wedding plans are going very well - as are the cruise plans. We are still a group of 8 but it looks like the cruisers have changed. Jeff's youngest two (Matthew and Kristen) will not be joining us and they have been replaced by Sheryl's soon-to-be husband, Mike, and Jeffery's girlfriend, Rachel.....providing they get us their required deposit money by the end of the month! We decided not to waste our money on court hearings and etc. to push to get permission for Kristen and Matthew...well he's just kind of vanished and our understanding is that he's been up to "no good".

We supposed to have a family meeting later this month to look at excursions. I need to see what Jeff and I would like everyone to do as a family and what will be "do-it-yourself" days. My girls want to see the dolphins and I'm considering parasailing....but I may hold off on the parasailing until next year when it's just me and Jeff. I really want the kids to have fun this year!

Happy Easter! Our church does a BIG event on Easter - we transform a HS Gymnasium into a Jerusalem Marketplace- complete with Jafar the camel, actors (playing roles of biblical characters) delivering monologues, Roman Soldiers, food vendors, activity booths for jewelry making, archery, mosaic tiles, etc., tons of people in period costume, along with several traditional services running throughout the morning. Very fun yet lots of work for our family (set up, volunteer time, and clean up). About 15 of us went out to a late lunch at Chevys afterwards. Finally home to relax as a family and enjoy a break in the rain.
