Of course, I'm already freaking that if we have to tender I won't make it in time!

I did complete my taxes, BTW, and e-filed AND am getting back more than I expected (due to medical deductions on my state taxes).:thumbsup2

Hey....anybody want to see a pretty picture of Sedona? Here's the view from our room:

Jackie, what resort are you staying at?
I am always looking for my next trip!

Pat, this was at Orchards Inn at L'auberge....and I'd only call it a hotel! ;) It doesn't have resort type facilities and is kind of worn...or 'well used', if you know what I mean....terrific view though, eh?

If you were to look straight down from the balcony you would see L'Auberge, which is a wonderful resort with a 'lodge' that has rooms and there are also private 'cabins' along Oak Creek. It a four star restaurant with excellent food and service. I'd also recomment Enchantment resort or LosArboles. Enchantment is a little more secluded (out from town) and Los Arboles is right in the heart of shopping. I know Poco Diablo is on the RCI time share list and it is a lovely 'golf' type resort (a Shell Vacations property). There are also some delightful B&B's in Sedona if you don't want to go the 'resort' route.

It's also very easy to do a day trip to the Grand Canyon from Sedona (from Phoenix it makes a very loooong day trip).

OMG! This is my 4,000 post! Let's party!
:cheer2: party: :rockband: :woohoo: :thumbsup2

Wendy, thanks for sharing the pics! Who gets to keep Jafar the camel for the rest of the year?:)

Jackie, what a pretty photo...wish I could do the Dolphin Swim with you...sounds like a great experience!

Off to the Maritime Museum in San Diego this morning...Star of India here we come. Thankfully, it's considerably DRIER than last week in SF when we explored the tall ships there:).

That is most favoriet place on earth. When I becom indepently wealthy That is where I am going to live. The air port has a really good restruant. I used to fly in to it several times a year. If you ever get the chance take a flight in a small aircraft the view is breath taking.

Spotdude, Peg (TiggersPal) has a friend who has a plane and he's taken her up there a couple of times. Landing on that mesa scares me! :scared1: I've been to the airport to rent a jeep, but I don't think I've ever eaten there. My boss is driving up there tomorrow to have lunch with a client....and can't seem to convience her to take me along! :confused3

My Friend Brian and I used to go riding on the broken Arrow trail all the time I love the view at submarine rock. My DW and I took the Pink Jeep tour once before we were maired when my Farthers truck lost the starter. We had a really good time I recomand that to tour to everyone that goes there. It was the most expensive tour but well worth it.

IBOUNCETOO: I booked the Royal Dolphin Swim for 2:00 pm for myself and dd8 and the 12:00 Dolphin Encounter for dh and dd6. :) How long did it take you to receive a confirmation from dolphin discovery? I booked yesterday but haven't rec'd anything yet.

I got it within 24 hours. The e-mail came from Miguel Diaz and had Dolphin Discovery in the subject line. Is it possible your 'spam blocker' may have blocked it from your e-mail? You could try e-mailing him at mdiaz@dolphindiscovery.com if you don't get it today. This excursion and the Mayan ruins tour are turning out to be the best "diet motivators" for me!

Nice chatting with you Dee, Sarah, Wendy and Tim (all the way from China)! Looking forward to hearing what everyone else has been up to!

Two more weeks of Gilmore Girls and Peg and I will be back on for chat! Can't get Peg to record and watch later.....she loves that show too much to wait ;)

I actually drug out the craft supplies tonight (heat gun and everything!) to do a project for Peg's office. Got 2/3 done and will finish up tomorrow night. Maybe I'll work on the design for the Double-dip birthday/anniversary celebration luncheon reminder notices that I want to bring on the cruise. ::yes::

Well, it's bedtime here....goodnight Double Dippers...sorry I missed chat!

I was logged onto AOL.....didn't 'see' you guys...what time did you chat?
If you see me next time, please send me a chat invite.....Pretty Please!

Sorry Pat! :guilty: Sarah and I were on IM from 10 until about 10:30 or so and then Sarah set up a chat once Dee arrived...and then Wendy and Tim popped in. Wendy and I were on until around 12:40 a.m. MI Time....lost track of time...I'll watch for you next time and send you an invite. It showed you were away so I guess I just assumed you were busy....that's what I get for assuming.....

Talk to you soon!

Both my DDs want to stay in there clubs. Can they stay in the clubs while we go ashore? My mother enlaw is not really that mobile so she will be back on after a short shopping trek.

Hi all, just wanted to let ya'll know I am back, mostly. We spent last week in PA visiting my kids and grands. My oldest son got sick with a stomach bug on Tuesday, but was fine on Wednesday. Then I got it on Thursday, and it turned into the Godzilla stomach virus. I just couldn't shake it...so we went home early on Sunday, called my doc on Monday, who sent me to the ER for IV fluids and anti nausea meds. Much better now and much happier :goodvibes , except for gaining back 5 of the 8 lbs I lost. (shoot!)

Spotdude, I'm pretty sure the kids can stay in the clubs while you go ashore. But, keep an eye on the time...there were a couple of "stories" going around the DIS a few years ago about parents who were late for the ship in a port, missed the departure, and their kids were still in the clubs  . It might have just been a rumor, but who knows? I think in this case the ship turned around for them, but you can imagine the Captain was "none too happy". :furious: :teeth:

on 11/13/04 - the week before T-giving...they started decorating the ship - trees and garland were u - can't remeber the Gingerbread house but chichihoney will!....but CC was NOT decorated that Friday.....they saved that for the T-Day cruisers.

Do you think this means the ship will be decorated for Christmas for our cruise? I never thought of that but it would be lovely.

Kids are fine in the clubs while you go ashore. They even open the clubs early on port days so that you can make it to your excursions. My kids even liked the club activities better on port days than on sea days. When we were in Puerto Vallarta-youngest DS stayed in the club all day, in Mazatlan-everyone went ashore for a beach day, in Cabo (in part because we used tenders)-all three DS stayed on the ship while the adults went ashore (youngest was in the club all day, older 2 went to the lab in the AM, then checked themselves out to go back to the room to order room service at lunch, then went to a movie-we met them outside the theater when the movie was over). I couldn't imagine the stress of not making it back to the ship before it leaves port, whether the kids were in the clubs or with us in port. We have early dining, so we made sure we were always back on the ship in plenty of time to clean up and change, then hang out on deck before dining time. :sunny:
