I have to wear a patch for seasickness, even though I spent a good portion of my youth on my father's boat. Unfortunately, during most of our boat time, my sister and I were "feeding the fishes" as my father used to call it. I get queasy just thinking about it. Love the patch! We had really rough seas in our November '04 cruise and we didn't have a problem. :sunny:

Thanks I have heard mixed reviews about the patch several people on out cruise were complaining that it made them sick. I was going to go to my Doctor here in a couple week and ask his opion. and maybe try it out and ride in the back of my van with my DW driving or if I really want to test it get in the back seat on my sister enlaws SUV now that would reallly test it.

i can finally start focusing on this cruise! i got my ressie for the may repo to the med and i can forget about it for a little while!!! i figured out i have to work at least 12 extra hours per month to pay for it....i can do that!!! i got early seating (finally!!!) on that cruise but still have late dining on this one...it won't be such a big deal since we will only have 1 little on with us....we still have hope we can be switched by the time we sail!!! i just did not want to have late dining for 2 weeks...that would do me in!!

we i am off to work....have to earn $$$ to spend on the cruise!!! :cool1:

Oh my gosh....was a crew....54 in one group alone....what a DIS Meet it shall be :grouphug:

I told Mom that you guys are not talking very much. I am excited about the trip even though I'm going to have to do homework.

I got my dresses for formal night and the other dressy night...semi-formal?...they are really nice. Mom got them on sale :thumbsup2 at that bridal place where she ordered her wedding dress.

I can't wait to meet everyone. I hope that there will be LOTS of kids my age to hang out with! :goodvibes

Hey Pat, will you introduce me to Chip & Dale - they are one of my favorites!!

I'd love to see a copy of the DVD! I think I'd likely be good with the climb in and out (we've done some spelunking in local caves and I was fine with that). It is the shoulder to shoulder confined space stuff I don't like, you know... elevators are fine, but MRI machines- not so much!

Send me a PM with your address and we will send out a copy of the DVD. The subs have some space for each person, however, it still is a submarine and is in a smaller space. I think that you will be fine considering it is a very short time that you underwater (40 minutes).

Well, I'm glad to see more talk about nighttime activities (...:woohoo: :drinking1 :dancer: ...) I'll just need my afternoon nap so I can participate!!

Yeah! I'M ON VACATION!!! Left work early today and met the sisters at Tommy Bahama's for adult beverages and dinner...a nice kick-off to a week of fun.

GrayFal, I see you have the Repo in your sig. Did you get a Veranda?
Yes, I bit the bullet...Cat 6 - 6620...offered DH the option of Cat 11, 8 and 6 and he agreed with me that the verandah was worth it......this has always been a dream of mine - was going to go on the QEII for my 50th B-day but they took her out of comission and that is how I ended up on the 11/13/04 Magic Cruise....so I feel very lucky to be able to bring the Magic home after her European summer ......

We missed out on a lot last time because of rough seas and my weak tummy. I get plenty on ribbing about it too. "you'd think a person who has a pilots license and has done spin training and loops and all the crazythings I have done could handle a little rocking about" I get t hat from DW all the time. :rotfl: I am looking foward to having an exceptionaly good time the round.

Me too - except I have not had Spin Training - unless you count the Teacups ride. :crazy2: I will definitely put the patch on Before we get to the ship this time! And I am looking forward to doing more.

I can't even watch them I get sick standing near that crazy ride. DW and my friend brian were ask to slow down in DL. I couldn't even see them it was a blur. My DD's love that Primeval Whirl ride in AK I go to the snack bar and get an ice cream or soda.

Love the teacups! But I'm scared to try Mission Space :confused3

Just checked out the Port Canaveral web-cam. The Magic is home safe and sound and my poor friend, geffric, has to GET OFF THE SHIP :( Looking forward to her report on Costa Maya.

I loved mission space. THat ride doesn't bother me. I think it is because like driving or flying. I am doing something and have my mind on something other that is I am going to keep my lunch in my belly.

rocket ralph
pat, tom, hannos mom chichihoney dad and aunt debbie are going on the repo going back to fl

and if we win the lottery we'll join you all :teeth:

Seriously, it sounds like a truly magical experience! I'll be following your "live" thread very closely!

Is the dinning rotation the same on this cruise as it is on the Western? The formal - semiformal nights as well as Captains Gala and the other nights dress recommendations?

We were originally booked for the Cruisetoberfest but decided to change so our friends and son can go. Still not 100% sure of our friends but our son is a sure thing, his summer job ends 10/29.

There will be four of us in our family Dave (DH), Shelly (me!), Kyle (13) and Michael (18). Our 20th anniversary is in October but we can wait to celebrate it in November! :thumbsup2

Ok, off I go to help dh get the camper ready for next weekend. :sunny:
