That reminds me....anyone sending a box for delivery to the ship? If I was going to do this for costumes and goodies what do I do?

I was thinking of doing that too! but then i have to fit them all back in my suitcases! Maybe i'm better off just packing them all. that way i know i'll have room to come home!

Hey gang! My 11 yo son started asking me about the Titanic......

He asked me if any of the Disney ship as drawned....

Well, I think he's getting worried...even for our next cruise with him next summer

Oh! boy! it was soooooooo funny to see his face!!!!!

I explained to him that the Magic or even the other ships are not like the Titanic.........and we don't go to Alaska, so no worries for the ice in the Carribeans!!!!

I am in full panic mode. In August we went to visit BIL at a local campground on Lake Ontario and ended up buying a trailer. I have dealt with nothing but that since then. It has been nice but we felt like we needed to use it every minute we could since we had to close it up by Oct. 15th and can't get back in until May 1st. It has also been a complete money drain. Everytime I turn around there is another expense that I hadn't planned on. My work is out of control and I haven't had a minute to breathe. Then a week and a half ago my DD cut up her pinkie toe really bad and lost her toe nail (may never come back) and that has meant Drs visits, bandages,ect. I haven't packed anything, no signs done, no clothes purchased, nothing! I am excited about going but I'm starting to really panic about all that needs to be done!

I did talk to the teachers and both seemed to be ok with it. They will have a lot to make up when we get back because we will be gone the next week also. They are only missing 5 1/2 days though because of vacation days, that is part of the reason that I moved the cruise to this week instead of Dec.

Sorry to all that we have not emailed. Life just took over!

Sorry Linda that life is so hectic these days. You will definitely get to relax in just a few weeks! And don't worry...your cruise will still be MAGICAL without a door sign, new clothes or packing at the last minute! (that's a good reminder for me too!)

Hello All! Good Beautiful Fall Morning to you! The trees are changing and the kids are getting excited for Halloween! I am fighting a cold but don't care as long as I am sick now rather than 3 weeks from now! I was telling my DH that flights to Florida are now over 400! Even Southwest is over 260! So I really feel good that our United flight was 204 a person! He is such a PITA and goes on to say "This will be the last time we can we can afford to fly as a family of 6!" Yeah right.....

Hi Linda,

Sorry to hear about Alex, hope she is ok. Amanda is looking foward to meeting her (and the other children she has been emailing) . Hopefully the kids can meet up on the first day. If it is nice I figure we will be by the pool after lunch.

I also haven't started doing anything yet. In the past month we had three weddings to attend . The last one is this weekend so hopefuly after this weekend I can start packing and shopping.

Oh, me too, me too - I would love to see other's dresses! I would show you mine if I had a picture of it to post! It's hard to describe, but it is black a-line. It drops in the back and has a faux diamond catch at mid back that holds a bit of material, kind of like a train. It's not floor length, it's below the knee and has slight sleeves with matching diamond catches on the sleeves. I know that probably makes no sense, but that's the best I can do!! I also got a semi formal dress that is knee length, a-line, sleeveless black and white.

I say buy the other dress -wear one on formal night, the other on semiformal night or on Palo night!
