DH found this idea on a thread late last night. He said you could take items to guest services to be signed by Mickey and Gang. Most people in the thread were talking about using pillowcases. Has anyone done this before?

We had thought about getting a picture frame mat to get everyone to sign. Then put family picture with Mickey in the frame.

We did this last year with a T-shirt and this year we are plannin on doing it with a pillow case.

On your first day you go to guest services with sharpies and item you want signed. They have a form and ask what kind of signitures you want like just princess, main (like Mickey and Goofy), or all. We did all the characters and it was so cute! It gets delivered to your cabin on the last night of the cruise.

Well, my TA send me a quick email to tell me he will try to have the time for me next week to give me my flight infos.............Not sure if I want to thank him or strangle him

Saw your other post about your airline tickets for your kiddo. Any news? I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you!

I gave up and sicced DH on them - apparently the answer is "they don't ticket minors until 21 days out" - which just seems absurd to me.
Why, if you have already made the reservation, reserved the seats, and issued the ticket numbers for the adults would you wait 9 days to issue the child's ticket?

But apparently, absurd is the modus operandi over there.

We'll wait until 21 days out - and if there's no ticket number? DH is going to go ballistic on them this time.

I'm done dealing with DCL air.

Next time, we are booking on-board, but I'll handle the air myself.

I just had some of the members on Disboards do graphics for me. I just finished printing them out on photo paper. I'm debating on whether to laminate them or not. I bought strip magnets to put on back.

I also got pillowcases and a photo mat to have autographed. I have such a big list of things to do. How do I pack for a family of 6? (ok, I have before, but it ain't easy). I'm never gonna get everything ready.

My 6 yr old asked if we had to go on the cruise. He's afraid of it sinking. I told him not to worry. He'll have so much fun that he won't even think about it. I'm not sure if my family is as excited as me for this cruise.

Yeah, it would seem to be only a good option when you are booking late and their airfare option is less expensive than booking independently.


I know I love DCL - but I'm not really fond of the reservations department when it comes to air.

That said - we live and learn!!

I asked the girl how come all the womens costumes look so "slutty?" She told me that it is what most people want. HUH? People like me the 41 YO mother of 4? Anyhow, I got a costume that covers most of me, however, I'll be needing some lace leggings so my posterior does not hang out when I bend over!

I was referring to poeple who lurk until the post gets to a specific number - like 999 ( which is coming up ) and then post and brag about it, getting 1000 and so on, it is a game that gets played on some of the other threads.

My neighbor is going to make my fish extender for me. I gave her the materials today. I have no clue how to sew and she's always sewing things.

What excursions are those with young ones doing? We are doing the seaworld explorer in St. Maarten. Anyone else? Also, do any women want to get together and go shopping in St. Maarten in the early afternoon or around 2 or 3pm? My husband will stay on board with the kids and I want to go sightseeing and shopping.
