Too far to walk I can tell you that much. Dock is one one side and Truman Annex is kinda on the other. They have pink taxi's that will take you there if need be. Good luck...I can tell you from the past, the boats are pretty cool to look at and watch out in the Ocean, but it will be VERY CROWDED !!

Thanks!! It looked kinda far. As far as crowds, we're on a cruise ship with 2000 people, what's the difference other than they're not the EDCs...

Or...I give tix to Dad/Brother, let them kill each other fighting over who's driving and paying for gas etc., all the while I sit at home, in my PJ's, Wings for dinner, Ice cold Beer in fridge at disposal with a CLEAN bathroom and watch everything on my 52" Plasma...hmmm

Now that is THE ticket to have: CLEAN private bath, catered food (order in), private fridge & comfy seat NONE of which you would be getting at the stadium!

Hi all,
We received some bad news yesterday.....my Dad was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. We don't have much details yet as to what stage but we're praying for the best. His doctor thinks they may have caught it early but more tests (Blood and CAT scan) are needed. The results of the tests will be in just before the cruise and I don't know how I'll handle it if it's bad news. Any prayers on my Dad's behalf would be greatly appreciated.

I can't believe I really have to go home and start packing this weekend - since I have limited time this weekend and more limited time next.....it's just surreal that it is this close....I didn't even do a list....hopefully I can remember everything. Maybe I'll just do it by day and then work from there.

Hey is there anyone with kids in the 6-7 year old age range that live within 30-45 minutes from Lawrenceville, NJ? (I'm only maxing it out a 7, because the 8 years old would be in a different kids club). Some of us may meet up at Chuck E Cheese in Lawrenceville to have the kids interact on Saturday, Oct. 25th in the afternoon. PM me if you're interested.

So, yesterday I did a dumb thing. I was on the way to the post office to mail a couple of packages, and to mail the last 2 envelopes of wristbands. I got there (2 miles away) and looked in the passenger seat and didn't see my mail. Then I saw the 2 packages sitting on top of the car. The 2 envelopes of wristbands weren't there. When I left home I had my hands full with DD so I set the mail on top of the car and then I guess I forgot to get it after getting her in the car seat. I drove home looking for the envelopes and didn't see them. Luckily I have extra wristbands, and thank goodness for return address labels. I had someone come to my house this morning with one of the missing envelopes. The second hasn't turned up, but it just had one wristband in it, so no big deal I can send another. Anyway for the 2 of you who are waiting on wristbands, they are on the way--just delayed a day.

Hope everyone is having a great Friday! I bet in 2 weeks we will all either be in Florida on en route. See you soon!!!

I was reading how they will be having power boat races in Key West the week of November 2nd. On Sunday at 4pm there will be a parade on Duval St. I imagine it will be quite the busy place with the "Boat People", and the Magic in port.

Some of the teachers asked what will I be doing 1 week from today at 2 pm today.

Freaking out, packing, weighing luggage, downsizing luggage, weighing luggage

Then they asked what will I be doing 2 weeks from today.

I will be picking up my kids for early dismissal.

We will drop off their backpacks minus their school work that needs to come with us.

Then we wait for our SUV taxi to take us to the airport.
After curbside check in, we will get through security then we will give them the word search puzzle with the ???
"Where are you going on vacation tomorrow?"

The letters NOT used will give them them the answer: "You are going on the cruise ship Disney Magic tomorrow!

I am about ready to explode with excitement!
