Got to find a decent Garment Bag to lug gowns/DS7's tux in. Anyone ever used iron etc onboard? What's it like? Also, I have long hair and use my own hair dryer and flat iron, do they work onboard? I usually bring a power strip with me on other cruises that has 6ft cord, cause the outlets are never where you need them.
Not new to cruising, just to DCL, sorry about all the newbie questions.

There is an Iron in the laundry room, but beware that it can get very crowded in there prior to dinner.
Also, the only place you will really be able to plug in your power strip or hairdryer is on the desk. There is a big mirror there, so it should be fine. The plug in the bathroom I think is only good for things like electric razors.

Has the 1st day been taken yet? I would like to have that day if possible.

Guess what, I can't even have the kiddos help me pack the FE's. Maybe they can help me when we get to FL on the 31st.

When shopping for new underwear at your local Wallyworld...be sure not to buy your daughter's diarrhea medicine at the same time. You will be bound to get some curious looks of distain from the check out lady and a glance at your pants to see if indeed...you did have an accident.

I'M CRYING I'M LAUGHING SO HARD !!! I was an Asst. Store Mgr. for Walmart here in Manahawkin for 4yrs....OMG. I would have killed to have seen that scenerio. Can guarantee not one that passed my front line while I was there.

Can't believe it's almost time to set sail!!
I've heard a good tip about "getting out the wrinkles"(not the one's on my face, that could be hopeless) in your clothes while on the cruise. Other diser's have sworn by Downy wrinkle release and I decided to give it a try. Much to my surprise....it really works!! Anyone else heard any good tips??
Not feeling so well today I guess the first cold of the season is upon me. My friend thinks I'm developing allergies because my ears are clogged. Took a claritin but it didn't help. Any suggestions to clear up these ears? I feel like I'm stuck on an airplane!!

Must be a Jersey thing, since storm other day the entire family is stuffy and complaining of headaches etc. Now DS7 is stating his ears/throat hurt. I know the nasal spray Afrin works wonders for me and was recommended by Allergist to clear it all up. As stupid as it sounds, try a few drops of Olive Oil in the ears. Supposed to be nature's antibacterial. Good luck !

lots of gatorade, allergy meds, clean pillowcases and chicken noodle soup.

We could do Tuesday or Wednesday.

In some ways it would be nice, but also it would be nice not to, since by the end of that day, most of the re-packing will need to be done....

This is why I'm asking- I was going to put myself on Friday, but then I was thinking how to fit that in on the last day? But I wondered if anyone had a "See ya real soon" kind of good-bye gift that maybe should be given then. If not, I'll just divide the 18 families between 6 days-
