we are off exit 2 on I-95. I work by State Police Baracks C(main headquarters). I work for the NJDAgiculture at the Philip Alampi Benefical Insect Lab for the division of plant industry. We mass produce insects to help reduce the amount of pesticides that the farmers use. WE also work with USDA, US Forestry,and DEP on projects that pesticides cannot reach or would hurt the enviroment like pond/lake areas. If you go to the state web site (state.nj.us/agriculture) and click divisions then plant industry you can see all our programs. See how you tax dollars are used. I have been there for over twenty years and if I get bugged at work I just squish it.
question: how does the pagers get handed out for the kids club? Is it when you drop them off or do you get one for the week? Anyone ever done the Island tour and Butterfly Farm on Grand Cayman?

They are nucleaur flies, they eat kryptonite !!!! < I am close enough to power plant to swear they breed them there>.

I know one of the projects was for the brownslugs that are invading from some where else and the purchase reports were for cases of cheap beer. the running joke at staff meetings was who was drinking the beer. the beer was used in slug traps(iam glad i am not inthe field).

Beer in the field??? Where do I get a job like that? Now I know where all the Old Milwaulkee went....State of NJ officials have it.
Here I have been in the painting business with DH for over 20yrs and I could have been playing with bugs and beer. Instead I have slugs for workers and beer bellies to look at !!! Where's the justice !

We used it in our garden. The slugs seem to be attracted to the smell, slide in and drown. She told us cheap beer works best.

I'm jealous. Have fun with the CRICUT. I've never used one, but love scrapbooking. Joann.com has a 50% off online coupon right now. I'm not sure if you can use that for a cartridge or not, but it might be worth looking into. You'll have to show us what fun things you make with it.

I gotta meet up w/ my friend to get more ideas. We had planned to get together in Sept. every week for a couple of hours to teach me the ins & outs so I would be ready when I got my cricut on sale at the black Friday sale.

Now I gotta ramp up my learning curve.

We'd love to order some bracelets! What a great idea! I had looked into lanyards months ago... but unless you ordered 100s they were expensive. Could you put us down for 1 large, 1 medium and 2 small? Thanks so much!!

Hi,
I don't have the cricut machine, but I do have the Sizzix machine and pleanty of cut out letters and dies. Just another scrapbooker out here.
Not sure if I want to invest into another cutting system, my daughter has
both systems. The two tools I used the most and would not part with as a
scrapbooker are my corner rounder (Creative Memories) and my perfect layers. Good luck with your new machine, have fun using it.

Hi all!! My friend Sue, an avid Disney cruiser, has told me about this website because we are taking our first Disney cruise on November 1st so she thought we could meet a few people before we set sail.
It will be myself and my hubby along with our two boys 10 and 6. We are thinking of booking the stingray adventure on Castaway Cay and the Island Tour and butterfly farm on Grand Cayman. If anyone has any suggestions, I'd love to hear from you.
