Yeah...we just booked for Nov 12 - 18. I can't wait...we didn't think we would be able to go this year, but thankfully it worked out

Well, here's my story-
We are moving next week from PA to Arkansas-
We sold the house in PA in 5 days while we were on vacation in SC. We drove home quickly, stayed one day here and flew out to go house hunting in AR. We were there 5 days finding a house, negotiating, signing papers, getting the kids set in school, the usual.
Now we are pulling our hair out trying to finalize plans. The movers will be here Wed, Thurs, Friday of next week and then we get to drive to AR and stay in a 2 bedroom hotel suite for 11 days with three kids, a slobbering bulldog and my Mom, who is along for the ride.
Should be fun.
Anyway- I will check in sporadically- but we don't close on the house until the 11th and I don't have a laptop, so it will be difficult.
Hope everyone's planning a great vacation- we have to switch our flights on SW from Pittsburgh to Tulsa----
AND
we are still going to Jackson Hole late August.
I'm tired now, LOL.

...... last fall the batteries in my girlfriend's camera "died" as Minnie and I met again at Cape May. I think she didn't want a memento of our love floating around back home.....

Jo - it sounds like you are in for quite the journey over the next month! Good luck, I hope everything goes smoothly, well, as smooth as possible anyway! Moving is so stressful, but at the same time I think it's kind of fun, new home, new neighbors, new friends. We moved two years ago and I absolutely love my neighborhood and I have really nice neighbors and there are a lot of kids on our street so my kids have lots of friends to play with. I hope you find the same situation in your new home!

I think you might have some competition...Minnie was "flirting" with my DH a couple years ago when we were at WDW. I'll tell him to stay away since she's already taken by a fellow DISer.

I will be there Nov. 1-8,for a solo trip, staying at VWL. Fortunately, I don't have to wait until then for my Disney fix. I will be a VB for 4 days in August, followed by two days at Animal Kingdom Villas. Can't wait for these trips. The closer it gets to August 16, the slower the days go by.

I hit double digits today!!!!!! This trip was originally going to take place last November but my wife was prego and it was a little rocky. (It worked out fine and we have a beautiful daughter.) We put the trip off for a year so it has been a long wait. We booked in February so now it feels like we are almost there!!!! Hang on November people we will all be doing the double digit dance soon!!!!
Let me know if your dates change- I have a few more days to tweak the list before all heck breaks loose on my end.
