November '08 ~ What Do You Mean It's Over? Should we plan another???

I will be there Nov. 1-8,for a solo trip, staying at VWL. Fortunately, I don't have to wait until then for my Disney fix. I will be a VB for 4 days in August, followed by two days at Animal Kingdom Villas. Can't wait for these trips. The closer it gets to August 16, the slower the days go by.

My kids and I will be at VB for 4 days in August too!!! Then we are going to POR for 3 days. We can't wait.

Wholly Cow that list has grown!! See what happens when I take a break from the boards. I have been avoiding coming here lately because I thought I was going to have to cancel my trip do to changing jobs. But guess what? Bad news is I did not find another job. Good news, I have postponed finding other employment until after my trip.

I really tried to read the posts I missed to get caught up on things but I would be here for a week to 10 days reading. So if there is anything important I need to know (like a dis meet, etc.) Someone please clue me in.

Okay, seriously, glad you don't have to cancel. I know that feeling all too well. We had to cancel our trip planned in 2006. So I haven't been to Disney since 2000...*GASP*

I need your help ladies.... i've been reading on another post about a "personalized" menu option at Coral Reef. We have an ADR there for our last dinner. What is a "personalized" menu and how do i get one? Anybody know? I'd like to do something nice for DBF.

About the Coral Reef thing....all I know is you can get a diver to have some kind of menu shown at the window for you. Could be cool

As for the menus, you have to email Debbie (I think thats her name..) and she will contact you back for photos, etc and when you get to the resturaunt, remind the person at the check in podium and when you are given menus, you will have personalized ones with your phots you sent. Let me see if I can get serach to work or me today and I'll be back with the info...

Then when she confirms she can do that she will give you her email and you will converse each other through email.

I google searched them and i got the name debbie but couldn't get a straight answer on whether to call (and couldn't get the number) or email (didn't know the email address either) I'm going to call tomorrow morning while DBF is still sleeping I can't wait i think it will surprise him and will be really cute.


Oh and I bought my plane tickets!!! I figured i'd check southwest and i got awesome flights!!! they were 110$ one way (so 220$ total per person round trip) non-stop and we leave from home early in the morning and will be in disney by noon!!! and coming home we will be leaving disney at 9pm so we get the whole day there!!! Psyched!!!!

The tickets that I bought at $193 are now $94 plus tax!!! I changed the tickets, and got a $670 credit. In a way I wished I would have waited, but since I needed 8 tickets I was afraid to wait. At least I have a credit I can use on another trip to Disney!!!

OMG!! Thats awesome!!! Glad my info could help! I was surprised at how much they dropped too! As soon as i saw the prices i jumped on it! I'm so happy for you! I LOVE southwest, they fly out of the airport i like, good prices, You get to pick your own seats, and i've always had the nicest service with them. And i LOVE their little snack packs they give you on the plane. I emailed the women I bought DVC points from for this trip so that she can request the ME for me.... i LOVE getting the little ME package in the mail with you're little transfer booklet and luggage tags.... I'm so happy to be going back again this year.... can you all tell? hehehe

I have never been to the Coral Reef but it sounds pretty cool. I might try to get in this trip if possible but if not next time!!!!
