November '08 ~ What Do You Mean It's Over? Should we plan another???

why are people listed for oct, and dec????

Because their trip either carries over into November/from November or they are some of the ones who originally had November dates planned and changed them. We are called the OctoNoveCember

Help me out my friends.

If you are staying on property, can you make your ADR's at the 190 day mark instead of the 180 day mark.

180. It's 180 + 10, which means that 180 days out, you can make reservations for your first night and the ten nights after that (this way you don't have to call each day).

We really like Mama Melrose at DHS,The Fantasmic package is great. This is one show the whole family enjoyes. We are not going to do the package this year and will be eating at 50's.Hoping to go to DHS on a night they offer 2 Fantasmic shows. Also want to get there durning a weekday heard rumor Soap weekend will fall Nov 8&9 2008.Was told if your not into soap this park should be avoid that weekend!

Ok so hear goes my my not so bad depends on the way you look at it problem. We our booked at the Poly for 8n/9d paying 4910.99 room & tickets only.DH invited his DM&DF,DBIL&family(5) my DM&DSF who invited my DB& his DGF.My DSF suggested he would get everyone rooms on his time share. They are going to be staying at Sherton Vistina.(Booked there 4 rooms thur RCI)it is costing them less than 600.00 per roomfor 7n/8d(2 bedroom suits)Now DH think we should stay there also and save the money& beclose to our family. I under stand his point. But in the 3 previous trips to the world we have never stayed off site.Even when we went to Disney land we stayed on site. This is also the first time we will be visitng US&UIA.Is it that much of a difference to stay off site. Why do I have such a problem with this.Should I zip it, and give it a try?(To make the family Happy)

Happy Mickey: I would have such a hard time staying off site, and I feel even though you get to spend some time with your family at the parks and restaurants, when you go back to your room, you still feel like its YOUR vacation.

Looking at it as a money thing: Before your DH invited everyone else to "join" you, your ressie was made and the price was ok then right?

My first and second trip to DW we stanyed offsite. But our last trip was our first onsite. If money were an issue and staying offsite was the only way I would get to go to DW, I'd do it, but if I could stay onsite I would. Especially with children.

Add us to the list of November visitors. My sister and her family, who live in Oregon, are flying in to Orlando to meet up with us on November 8th, departing on the 15th. We're all pitching in and renting a 2-bedroom at Old Key West. This will be their first visit to WDW, and my DH and I are excited about showing them around.
We've been planning this trip for over a year, and I have an itinerary all printed out, but I know it will change as soon as they post November park hours. Plus, I forgot about Super Soap Weekend at DHS, and if that takes place Nov 8-9th, that will definitely cause our schedule to shift. Oh well, planning is half the fun!

I got an Honorary Disney citizen button like in your sig last month Hula!

Looking forward to cracking it back out in November!

I got all my ADR's!!!! Details later!

Hello to all the Newbies! I will update the list soon.

Out the door to soccer.

Have a great weekend!

Jo

We were just down at WDW for a few days. We only went to MK for the P&PParty, but we hung out at DTD & BW, and it was just not as fun being there and NOT being on property. We stayed over by Old Town. We did NOT like staying off property; we normally stay at OKW. I guess it's just like DCL, once you've stayed there, you're hooked.

On the other hand, if you are going with a huge group of people, it might be fun for all of you to stay at the same place, even if it is off property. We can never get such a large group to go, but I would think it would be a blast!
