November is ds1 birthday and a much quieter less humid time to go, wont be able to do it next yr as ds1 will be at school so going to have to get used to crowds and humidity from now on (though planning to do a cheaper trip in May/june 2009 which im slowly wearing dh down about!)

Thanks for the offer may have to take you up on that, though on Mon we should find out if dh has got his promotion (and payrise) so planning on using this happy event to get him to commit !

On a less happy note we have the house of illness here this weekend, been up all night with the two boys, who have decided once the sun came up that that were going back to sleep leaving me wide awake!!

Thanks! I love it and it gives me a chance to get away from everything once a year. Plus, this way I can completely ignore my birthday and avoid unwanted birthday parties!! My wife isn't so happy with my not being home over my birthday every year, so I have a feeling that my solo trips are going to be limited in the future.

My sister. DVC membe,r tells me yesterday:

"We decided to go and I'm taking mom and they helped me plan everything even my ADR's. (She isn't in the know like I am and I made all her dinning plans and ADR's for her last year) and she's going next month. The are staying at Saratoga. I'm glad she's taking my mom. My mom always goes with us, but not this year. At least she gets to go with my sister and she experience DVC.


I have to wait FOREVER!!!!

Tell me, I made her ADR's with a 2 week notice, get her ressie's at the coolest places, she even lucks out at Tony's and get's a table while they dine to watch the parade and then Wishes.

That would never happen for me.

I haven't been able to stop coughing long enough to plan anything lately. My DS4 asked me last night why we couldn't just leave for WDW that night. It is going to be very hard to wait until Thanksgiving!

That cough is relentless. It's a nasty bug! I got pneumonia twice in a month. My DH coughed for 2 weeks and my son has had his cough for months. Dr. thinks it's drainage from allergies.

But whatever started it I'd pay big bucks to have it exterminated.

I traveled a lot with my dd when she was a baby and she did great. I didn't take her to WDW until she was 9 months, but she would have done just as well at 6 months. That being said, I know all babys are different so if I feel that this one won't be as easy a traveler like his sis I will cancel our trip and wait till next year. I REALLY hope that doesn't happen!!!!

We'll be there Nov 8-15, 2008. Offsite at Bonnet Creek. Our annual trip to the mouse, myself, DW, DD11, DS10, DD7, DD5, and DS3.

Ugh, 232 days away.
