Does anyone own one of these? We bought a full size one for our 3 year ds. Our chiropractor said it would be a good choice but we can't believe how firm it is! I was wondering if anyone had one and if they adjusted to the firmness. I guess he is used to a crib mattress anyway, but his 5 year old sister asked me yesterday why are we making him sleep on a rock :rotfl2:? Thinking about returning it and getting a regular spring mattress instead.

I don't know if we have the Memory Gel one, but we did buy a Novaform Memory Foam Mattress a little over a year ago from Costco. I'll be honest. We should have returned it a long time ago, but we just got lazy, because it's a King Size. I like firmer mattresses, but it has not gotten any better. We went to disney last year in January for a week and when we got home it was freezing cold. Well I went to lie down and the bed was seriously hard as a rock as if it had frozen, too. Eventually when the house heated up, it went back to normal, but I just had to laugh.

At first I thought it helped my back, but a month later the same old issues came back.

Thanks for responding! The good news is, you could still get your money back with Costco's return policy. I was reading on how to return the mattress and they said you should call your warehouse to see how they want it returned. Some people said they had someone come to pick it up.

Fortunately this is only a full so I think dh could fold it and put it in the van.

I really thought it would be wonderful but it is so hard! And his 40 pound body isn't going to sink in as much as mine and I barely sink in!

If you want a memory foam (which chiropractors recommend) get a Temper-pedic iwith topper pad it's the best and not hard. A lot of companies started coming out with "copy-cat" memory foam mattresses, but they ARE not the same. We have had our Temper-pedic mattress for 11 years and it is great! Also, it is not hard, so I would definitely return the one you have - they do not get softer - and a little "body" is not going to make much of a dent in it ;) The Temper-pedic do not come cheap and for a little fellow you might want to get a good quality mattress in another brand - a little softer:) Good luck - I always "hate" having to buy a new mattress - so many choices and brands and you are on them so many hours of your life ;)

I took all three kids out and bought a new mattress. Dh thought I had lost my mind. The guy said I'll deliver it Friday and I said no I need it tomorrow so he is going to try to work me into the schedule.

I think it will work out. I bought the same line my two dds have - Simmons Beautyrest Classic. They have enjoyed those.

Good decision! I tried really hard to love the mattress, but I just didn't. Costco's return policy is so great, they would take it back. I would just be so embarrassed for waiting so long :-) Too bad they don't sell Tempurpedics, then I wouldn't feel so bad returning it.

Thanks! I feel much better tonight knowing we're getting a different mattress. Hopefully ds will like it too! My two girls checked the floor sample out too and they both thought it felt like their mattresses :).
