Nov weather

Does anyone know how the weather usually is in mid Nov right before Thanksgiving? Are you able to go swimming? Thanks alot

We went the week after Thanksgiving two years ago, it was warm enough to swim. It got a bit chilly at night, but my 11yo SIL still swam. We are going the week before Thanksgiving this year, I'm crossing my fingers for swimming weather.

we were at the Polynesian last year at Thanksgiving. People were swimming, as were the ducks...the pools are heated, you could see the steam coming off of them at night. For the most part, the temps were in the 70's during the day, nice at night, but then again we're from Massachusetts, and we left in the middle of a snowstorm, so we wore shorts the whole time we were down there. I bought a sweatshirt for night time (I purposely left my winter coat in the car at the airport). There was really only one night that I should have worn long pants, but I wasn't giving in!!

Expect warm, dry days and cooler early mornings and evenings. Makes for interesting packing, I know. My suggestion would be to pack a windbreaker type jacket that you can layer underneath if needed and some long pants. Other than that I would plan for shorts and tees as it can still hit 90 now and then (but it can also dip down) after all it is Florida and anything can happen. We've seen it all.

So basically it sounds like we need to bring a little bit of everything. So much for packing light. As for the wind breaker type jacket, last year for our disney honeymoon I bought a jacket from Victoria's secret that I think is actually part of their "yoga wear". Anyway, the reason that I got is was because it was a great weight (like a light tshirt) black, zipped up and I could easily tie it around my waist if it got too warm.
