We are planning a November trip, 11/9-11/15. We have been to Disney many times, and love the weather and holiday decorations during this time. I currently have our first night booked in CBR pirate room. Then the rest of the time at WL. We have only stayed once on property at PORS, Royal room. We like the location of WL to MK. We will have a car, but the kids love riding the monorail and taking boats. We know we can park, but we travel with a double stroller and it would be nice to not have to collapse it up to take the tram.

We would like to try out multiple resorts. The thought of moving resorts doesn't bother us. We would keep the first night at CBR. My new plan is to stay at WL or contemporary for two nights and then switch to Boardwalk, Yacht, or Beach club. I like the idea of taking the boat to Epcot or HS from the resort. Also, we will be there during food and wine and have hopper passes, so we could go over to Epcot, even if just for a few hours.

So...Would you pick WL for two nights or one night WL, one night Contemporary? Also, would you pick Beach Club, Yacht Club, or Boardwalk and why. I know nothing about these resorts, except what I read on here. We have never even been to any of them.

Thanks for helping me plan our trip. :)

even with Disney moving your luggage - you have to pack and unpack the stuff.
moving every 2 days to me is alot of trouble - and I like to change resorts.

2 resorts in less than 7 days is more than enough for me. min stay for me is 3 or 4 days per resort.

I am contemplating a trip for the first week in Dec.. I want to do 3-4 nites either at BW or BC. You can access two parks easily from that location (EPCOT & DHS). I would then switch to WL for 2-3 nites to be near Fort Wilderness, MK and to do the monorail hotel holiday "tour". WL is my most favorite hotel and I have not been there yet at that time of year, but the pictures are great. Whatever you decide, I hope you have a good time ::yes::

I get what you are saying. Some more info, the first night we would be driving in and Sunday would be mostly a relax day. I am hoping when MVMCP dates are announced it will be on Sunday. So it will just be a day for the pool. So no unpacking, easy to move to a new resort. We stayed 8 nights at PORS and could have easily moved. It actually seemed too long (if that is possible). We have gone to Disney every year for the last three years. We are always done early with AK, so another day it would be easy to move.

Definitely two nights, at least, at WL. It is the most amazing resort during the holidays, and you're close to MK via boat or a direct bus. Further, you can walk, boat, or even bike to FW, and many of the RV owners there do a special job decorating for the holidays which are a joy to observe while at FW. And if you're okay with moving every couple of days, then go for it! :thumbsup2
