We have decided to go in early Novemberfor 2 weeks instead of August, now all I need to do is book the flight.... Which has been my downfall so far!

Never flown in November and really am not sure what would be seen as a reasonable deal. I understand that the bargain bargain flights seem to be in hibernation, but what would you see as a good deal, after having looked at August flights I think anything under £700 is good!

There are 2 adults and one (very very happy) child, in a perfect world it would be direct from Bristol, however would go from Heathrow, Gatwick or Birmingham and would consider indirect. Not fussy around the airline.

I have looked on loads of websites but everything is starting to merge together in my head and really would like an idea of what would be a reasonable price to book at?

Thanks in advance......

Last time we went in December - we paid around £480 - but that was flying back New Years Eve - I have checked the price for our flights this Christmas and at present they are showing at £510.

Personally for November I would be happy paying about £450 - preferably cheaper if I could get miles + money. what kind of prices are you getting?

Hi, today Virgin showing £470, so may just go for that...seems good especially when compared to Summer!

That's for sure.

I keep threatening to go for the MVMCP, but it would mean taking DD out of school for 2 weeks and at that time of the year it would be 2 full weeks. I cannot justify going for less than that. If you are able to do it, go for it and enjoy!!! :goodvibes:goodvibes I guess I could go over xmas and new year when our firm is closed for that period .... But then I keep thinking I aint seen the sun but for a handful of times since we were last in Florida a year ago ..... :rolleyes1

Is that Virgin flight leaving from one of your preferred airports? BTW, I am just being nosy now, not trying to persuade you one way or the other. :goodvibes

I booked yesterday for the last two weeks in October, two adults, two children Norwich-Detroit-Orlando for £1,932.00. Prices seem to be really high this year, but as always when you see a price you are happy with "jump in".

Hi,flight is leaving from Gatwick but after reading another thread I see the flights from Bristol will not be going when I go, am really considering indirect as going from Heathrow means we will easily get a lift whereas if we go from Gatwick we have to drive, then stay in hotel, well we don't HAVE to but otherwise it makes for such a long journey.

On the way out really don''t mind so much as see it as all part of the holiday but on the return I just want to click my heels and be home.

Have you checked Birmingham - Newark - Orlando with Continental?

Under £500 for November is pretty good.

I have looked at this route and going out it is 12.5 hours coming back 10.45 so not to bad but still £1670 for 2 adults and a child going 17th sept.I really dont know what has happened to the flight prices in general. When we have been november/december I have always booked around september and used m+m and paid around £380 BUT I doubt the prices will be anywhere near that this year. Prices seem ok till the old taxes go on and with the extra for baggage it really bumps it up. Good luck looking. I check everyday and to be honest it gets very frustrating when one day they seem ok then the next they are sky high.Best to have a figure in mind and when you see it book it. Im just really worried about flying on smaller planes than a 747 as very claustrophobic. Continental fly out on a 757 where as I think either US airways or united use the A330 airbus. I looked on AVro as well and they had direct flights with monarch from birmingham but to sanford.
