Nov first timer with questions coming from US

My husband and I will be coming to Croatia to see his family and then on to DLP. I am a huge Disney fan been countless times to WDW, DL and soon to be DLP. I worried about the negativity I have seen. This will be a one time only deal. We are looking to stay 3 nights. Just two adults. How is the park in early Nov? Nov 10-13? I hear some things about meal plan. Half board? When you book can you just pay the deposit and pay final payment at a later date. I will not be buying plane tickets until July but I saw on the Uk site they have discount if booked by mid April. Any suggestions will be great!

Don't bother eith half board, it's not worth it. You are restricted to certain restaurants and you don't save money.

If you book via internet you pay the whole amount at the time of booking. If you call reservetion line, you pay 15% and the rest 30 or 60 days before your visit.

Booking via internet you can use any site offer. If over phone it might depend on CM you talk to.
