We plan to be in WDW for three weeks, November 27 - Dec 18. I have reservations for the last week (Dec. 11 - 18) at VWL (2 BR) and from Dec. 6 - 11 in a deluxe concierge at BWI.
I also have reservations for the remainder at Ft. Wilderness (as a backup, as we'll have our camper), but after 5 months on the road, I think we'll be ready for three weeks with some room to spread out.
So what to do with the other 9 days? Both CSR and AKL look fun, though we'd have to get two rooms, or maybe a suite. I thought about YC/BC because of Stormalong Bay, but don't know if the weather will allow much swimming.
Any other suggestions? Two of our kids are autistic, and one has wheat/gluten allergies, so ease of dining choices would be nice.
BTW, I did contact DU after reading how so many people loved it. When I didn't hear back from them for a couple of days, I called CRO myself, and got a CM with an autistic nephew who was incredibly helpful. She got us the VWL and BCV (which I've since dropped.) Yesterday, after finally receiving my quote back from DU, I called BWI and another kind CM (who works with autistic adults) got us the deluxe concierge with AAA discount (I have an AP, but rates aren't out yet.) DU said they were only able to get us into Saratoga Springs, which wasn't even on our list.
I'm worried about getting the AP discount, as we'll be on the road when they come out in August. I was hoping to use DU to automatically do the upgrade, but that doesn't look feasible now. Any other suggestions?
