hi: the food and wine festival is still going on at that time. i know it's usually kind of busy during this time. you may also want to check when the super soaps weekend is as well.

I was told yesterday when I called that there isn't a room left on property. WDW is completely booked.

Others on this boards have been told the same thing.

I guess that's why there was a very limited amount of rooms available for the AP rate for that weekend

Super Soap Weekend is Nov 8-9. It's the next to last weekend of the Food & Wine Festival and the end of Jersey week.

We will be there Nov 2-7. We wanted to stay in the Epcot resorts area but when I made my ressies about a month ago there was no availability even then. I feel very fortunate to have snagged ressies at CBR with an AP discount.

In addition to the above, it's also a holiday weekend (Veteran's Day), plus The Festivals of the Masters is occurring that weekend too. That is usually held at DTD and is a big event.

I could get quotes from disney.com this morning for November 6th - 10th for AKL, FW cabins, all the moderates, and AS Sports and Music. It does look as if the deluxes are very full, but I wonder if expedia.com, AAA, or a travel agency might have something available.

I wish CMs wouldn't say that every resort is completely booked when there are still rooms available - it just leads to confusion. If they mean that rooms in a certain category (deluxes) or with certain discounts (APs) are completely booked, I wish they'd be more specific.

If it's really going to be so busy that week, do you think there might be extended park hours - maybe even an e-night? Hope so!

What is Jersey week? We are staying at the CBR from Nov 5-10th using AAA rates which offered quite a savings on room rate. Rate was only available on a standard room.

Hi, DaisyNY,
Schools in Jersey are closed either the 1st or 2nd Thursday and Friday in November every year for a teachers' convention in Atlantic City. Consequently, New Jersey empties out, with WDW being a favorite destination. We go to the Lancaster, PA. area where it is also very hard to find a room at that time.. But we Jerseyeans do not bite, so enjoy Disney and the magic!! Bob

Thanks! Actually we're quite fond of the Jersey Shore, especially Cape May which we visit almost every summer. Our childrens' school is also closed for 3 days beginning of November so there might be some extra Long Islanders around. And I thought we were visiting Disney at a quiet time. Oh well.

Well, there is also some sort of nurse convention that is going to be there. One of our nurse practioners is looking into it. But, it looks like they are taking over the Hotel Royal Plaza. Mickey

I tried booking for that timeframe in March and there was very little available at any of the deluxes. I was alittle surprised to find the choices so limited 8 months out. Last month, I moved my trip up a week and was able to book the Poly.
