Nov 5-12 unavailable?

We have traveled to DW this week the past 6 years an me never have had a problem booking. Today I was looking online and it seems that there are numerous resorts and rooms that are unavailable that week. Does anyone know what's going on that might cause that?

Those dates are close to a popular Race Weekend:

Wine and Dine Half Marathon - Nov. 2-5

Also Food and Wine Festival ends on Nov. 13.

And Jersey week. But my guess is if you keep watching whatever you are looking for will pop up.

CBR and CSR are apparently undergoing extensive renovations and sections of each are closed, limiting moderate class a bit. The south side of WL is also closed for renovations.

Those dates are sandwiched by 2 popular Race Weekends:

Wine and Dine Half Marathon - Nov. 2-5
Super Heroes Half Marathon - Nov. 9-12

Super Heroes is at Disneyland, so it doesn't affect rooms at WDW.

The south side will be reopening as Copper Creek Villas in July. I don't think they can be booked until later this month.

I just looked, and there appears to be a LOT of availability for that week. The only ones listed as not available are Coronado Springs, All-Star Movies, and a couple of Villa options (Poly, Beach Club). Regular Poly and Beach Club rooms are available.
