Nov. 4th, 2012 Dream cruise meet thread!

Anything with water won't be able to be carried in a carry on. But I don't see any other restrictions, except maybe being sure it's packed correctly so it doesn't break in your luggage.

Just booked & would love to participate in the FE if that's still possible. Thanks. I look forward to sailing with you.

Hello November 4th peeps!

We are in the process of booking this cruise! It will be our first cruise ever and we are so excited that it will be a Disney cruise! We are avid Disney fans (see signature) and we kinda stopped caring how weird other people think we are for continuing to go back year after year! We don't have kids, yet, and are looking forward to relaxing in the adults-only areas, but participating in the family fun stuff too. :goodvibes

Is the fish extender group still available to join?? I'm not sure if I will have time so it depends on the size of the group so far. :) It sounds like a lot of fun though!

Cut off is August 31. If you want to participate I'll need the following information from you . . .

Adults with name and ages: John (57), Pam (55)
Children with name, age and gender: Mickey (10M), Minnie(9F)
Stateroom(s): 1234
Celebration(s): 33rd Anniversary, Minnie's 9th B-Day
Allergies: Haggis
First Cruise?: N
Participate in FE: Y
WDW Radio Podcast Cruise: Y

How big is our FE group so far? I only know a bit about FE but it sounds like a lot of fun. I would love to make some fun things for everyone - but there's a big difference between making 15 of something as opposed to 50! :goodvibes

What information do you need from us to join along? Is it ok that we don't have kids with us? :flower3:

I have sort of a strange question. We are re-doing my daughter's room in an underwater theme. We are doing two days in Disney after our cruise. Any idea of somewhere I might be able to find twin size colorful fish sheets? I have googled them and looked high and low for them. Nothing on e bay, amazon, etc. Is there any place in Nassau, Disney, or the ship that I might be able to find them?

I didn't see anything like that on the ship, there may be something like that in Nassau.

EDIT: Then again, I see this on E-Bay if you like Nemo

I have sort of strange question. We are re-doing our daughter's room in an underwater theme. I have searched everywhere for fish sheets. I can't find them anywhere. Does anyone know if I would be able to find them anywhere on this trip? We are also spending two days in Disney after the cruise.

My DD has an Ariel themed room but her sheets look like water and shells if I remember right (She is still sleeping, so I can't go and look or take a pictures). I got those are Sears.

All right, Julie, got you guys on the spreadsheet. And really? Do you make a mean Monte Cristo? I love them, but never tried to make one, though it's just basically a ham and cheese on French Toast, no?

Thanks! Yes, I do! After we got married and went on our honeymoon to WDW, I got hooked to the disboards. So when we had one of our first Disneyland vacations coming up, I basically spent all my time planning our trips. Its funny to think about now since we can now plan a DLR trip in a week. :lmao: Anyway, one day at home I was in a complete obsessive trip planning mood, looking at menus for all the DLR restaurants. Since the restaurant that serves the sandwich, Cafe Orleans, wasn't going to make the cut, I decided to make it myself. It turned out to be incredible. It was so filling that I think I skipped dinner!

You can see my enthusiastic post here: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2145451&highlight=i+made+a+monte+cristo

I know - such a bummer. But hard to give up a $150 OBC we have with another TA. :sad1: Plus I'm not sure how "into it" my DH would be!
