It looks like Jungle Cruise and Space Mountain are both down on Monday, Nov. 2nd. Are these normal, short term closures for this time period to remove their respective overlays?
We'll be in the park Sunday through Friday.

Thanks,
Scott

Jungle Cruise is getting its Jingle Cruise overlay, Space Mountain is getting rid of the Ghost Galaxy overlay.

Jungle Cruise would be to add the overlay, Space would be to remove it. They could conceivably attach a refurb to an overlay removal, but they typically don't. Space usually takes 1-2 days. Last year Jungle Cruise was down for 11 days and opened when the holidays officially opened. IASW is also scheduled to be closed through Nov 5th, which means it will be open when the holidays soft open before the official start on the 13th.

Oh that would be terrible to have JC down during our entire trip.
Thanks for the heads-up SMD.

Space Mountain usually only closes for one day to have the Ghost Galaxy overlay removed, but there is a rumor going around that it might be closed for a longer so they can work on the upcoming Hyper Galaxy overlay. So that one might not follow the historic pattern. We should know more by the end of the week (as long as Disneyland continues to update the operating calendar).

Jungle Cruise will close to have the holiday overlay installed. If it follows the same pattern as last year, it'll re-open with the start of the Holiday Season (Nov 13).

It looks like we'll have to get all our JC rides for the week in on Sunday.
Oh well, it could be worse.

Does anyone know if there's a historic list someplace of commonly scheduled ride closures throughout the year?
