How crowded will it be in your estimation? Any special events or parades we should plan to attend?

We are Disneyland veterans but believe it or not we have NEVER made it there for the Christmas season before.

Thanks so much,

Ali

You are going to LOVE the parks during Christmas time!! As for crowds, we were there M-Th of this week last year and the crowds were very manageable, lines were relatively short, some were almost always walk on (like Tea Cups). It will be more crowded over the weekend for sure so try to get alot of your stuff done during the weekand on the weekend focus on those things that weren't offered during the week. Have fun!!

Before we had school aged children, this was our absolute favorite weekend to go to DL. Crowds were light and it was decorated for Christmas. Unfortunately it's been several years since we have last one over this weekend, so I can't speak to the crowds now, but they should still be quite reasonable.

The weekdays during the first week of December is one of the lowest crowd days during the Holiday season at DL. But the big crowded days will be the weekend in which will be the Candlelight Processional (Dec. 3-4). After that, the parks should be nice with little guests. On the weekdays except for Friday, the park crowd levels should be very nice during your trip.

One of the highlights during the Holiday season at DL is "Believe...In Holiday Magic" fireworks, "A Christmas Fantasy" parade & Sleeping Beauty's Winter Castle show. It will also snow after the fireworks and during SB Winter Castle.

My sister and I are going to be there at the same time (Nov. 29-Dec 2). We've gone every year the weekend before Thanksgiving, before it begins to get really crowded. This year we're going after Thanksgiving and I've heard the crowds are very light!!

We LOVE the Holiday Tour, so be sure to look into that!

its my birthday week and it is usually a great time to go ! We will be there too, in the parks the 29-30-and Dec 1st. :thumbsup2

We'll also be in the Anaheim area Dec 1-6, although we'll be doing just 3 days at DL/DCA and mixing in stops at Universal, Sea World and the Zoo. Good to hear the parks should be less than massively busy while we're there!

Our family will be there the same time. Traditionally, we have found it to be a very quiet time mid-week. However, the CP is that weekend, and Sat and Sun will mostly likely be quite crowded.
