November 27th is the first MVMCP this year. According to OG, this is a busy day. Does this apply to the party? It is on a Sunday but being the first party, I was not sure how crowds would be!

Except for December 04, we have attended the first night's MVMCP and have never had problems with crowds. Lots of people that have come for the Thanksgiving holiday have already gone home.

We will be attending this year's first MVMCP as well.

Hi, we went to the first party this year - Sunday night - I am not sure of the exact date. We had never been to a MVMCP before (we have been to the halloween party one time 2003) Anyway - we were EXTREMELY disappointed in the crowd level. It was PACKED. We only got to see one show and only got seats because my daughter is vision impaired and a CM saw her white cane and offered us seats up front. (nice) otherwise it was standing room only with lots of rude people cutting and standing on our toes!! Even in front of my daughter with the cane!! (I guess they figured she couldn't see, so who cares) We didn't get any of the famed cookies and cocoa at all. It took us a LONG time to move from one part of the park to another because it was a mob. We had a SLOW dinner at LTT (late) so we stayed for the late parade and it was hard to find a spot even 1/2 hour early. Overall I would not do it again. The parade was fantastic, but it was all we got for our money. It seems like compared to the halloween party we went to that there was a lot less things going on, places to get treats, didn't even get our photo taken, just seemed scaled down. We have been to WDW about 25 times in the past 10 years, so it isn't llike we don't know our way around and where things are. I know people have said the crowds were not a problem, but I cannot believe they would say that. It was HORRIBLE. the UG was also wrong about other days during our stay. I would not ever rely on their little guide again.

Sorry to rant - I just really was disappointed. It seemed like they really didn't put much of a limit on the ticket sales for this party. We went into it really excited and left bummed. It was a waste of time and money.
