I am a DVC member and usually do the sunday through friday trip.

We were going to drive this year, due to not having enough points to get free tickets(usually we do), but I checked into flights in august and found a great deal, leaving friday after thanksgiving and returning the friday we normally would.

Being the budget crazy that I am, I compared driving, staying at a hotel down and back(1 nite each) and cost of gas with flying and staying at all stars for 2 nights. Back in August it was a wash, looking at it with current conditions and costs, it was about $100 more to fly.

My sister and family met up with us on Sunday, they had a two bedroom at saratoga, we had a studio. Total people - 4 adults, 1 teenager(15), 1 ten yr old, a 6 yr old, 5yr old, 3 yr old and 2 yr old. One adult who was a big jafar (brother in law).

We ended up in the Paddock, in same hall, 1 room apart. We have stayed in Saratoga many times always opting for the grandstand, they could not accommodate this time.

We will not stay at Paddock again, pool was to small and there was no drink service for refillable mugs.

More to come...

we arrived on friday night late, flight was delayed, ME was good and we got to the all star music at about 10pm. Luggage arrived at about 12:45am, yes woke me up. Check-in went fine, I had used the online option and when we arrived I just told them at desk, they grabbed the folder and we were off.

Saturday 11/28 - it was cold - even for us, high of 59. As we were walking to buses, we were picked to open the pool, it was fun and got our vacation started right. Girls received a sombrero and miniature maracas.

We rode bus to Epcot and took Monorail to MK. Girls like to ride monorail once each trip.

MK was crowded, as I had planned, but we were able to get a lot in, did a couple of rides we had never done before and ate at CP. Girls enjoyed the characters, food was average.

When we returned to room, youngest insisted we go in the pool, it was nice, until we got out, actually, I could feel the water on my head being really cold.

Girls are so spoiled, first thing they said when we entered room, where is the refridge and why is the room so small, DVC has spoiled them, and me a little.

Next morning we had a bfast meal with Princess Bell at Norway, we also had to check out and get our luggage over to Saratoga. The CM were very nice and helpful, all we had to do was drop luggage off and go to Epcot.

We had a wonderful bfast, always do, love the taters and eggs. As an added bonus, we had Ariel stop at our table, first time in about 6 bfasts that we saw her, it was great as my oldest loves Ariel. Spent the next few hours walking onto Soarin and Test Track while also meeting up with my sister and her family.
The crowds were lite, a 4 most of day, 5 at times, middle of day.
