Nov 21st to Nov 28 2020

Did it in 2017 and this year. This year was far worse than any crowds I have experienced. Oddly enough, Wednesday (MK) and Thanksgiving Day (AK) were the most manageable.

Sunday at HS and Monday at MK were insane. We had to leave to the parks. We hopped over to Epcot on Monday evening and it was so much better.

Black Friday at Epcot was the biggest Disney mistake I have ever made. I knew it would be bad, but I was still shocked. Future World was fine in the morning, but World Showcase was unbearable. Yeah yeah I know everyone said it would be. ;)

We did MK on Saturday after Thanksgiving in the morning before heading home. It was just fine until about noon when we had to leave anyway.

There were lots and lots of Disney rookies. Lots of people melting down. CMs were terrific, though!

Good luck! I thought I would be down for Thanksgiving as our time to go, but not anymore. Not for a long time, at least.
We were at all the same parks as you (on Thursday-Saturday)! I totally agree with everything you said.

We actually aren't planning on doing any park time. I'm currently booked for a one bedroom in copper creek - but planning on trying to move over to 1bedroom in OKW - my DH is going to play a round or two of golf, we will be boating over to disney springs for bowling, and movies and food.
I plan on doing one night at Hoop Dee Doo just bc - we love it.
We want to do a Sleigh Ride tour through the Fort Wilderness campground Christmas Decorations - we got to see a little bit of them driving through this year on our way to Hoop Dee Doo.
Probably do some mini golf and then Whispering Canyon or Trails End for thanksgiving dinner.
We are from the North East so more than anything we are looking forward to being able to swim in late November.

This is scaring me a bit. I am a teacher and I moved to a school district that does not let us use our sick days for vacations. So I can only go when schools are out. We were thinking thanksgiving cause we want xmas decor and xmas week is even busier plus my family hates the heat/humidity. So thanksgiving seemed our ideal week.
