Answer
Each night, there is a Main Seating and a Second Seating for dinner.

On the Disney Wonder and the Disney Magic, the Main Seating is at 5:45 p.m.; the Second seating is at 8:15 p.m.

I do not know about Disney but on the NCL Cruise I found the Materde as soon as we boarded the ship and gave him my sob story and he move me to early dinner.

No problem, I figured it was just a typo, since the 6 and 9 are right above and below each other on the ten key. Getting so close. Everyone is packed but me.....the dreaded, figure out what I am going to want to wear time is here.

Here is what is from the Disney Cruise site. I just do them pre-paid where I do not have to worry about it.
One Note: One my first cruise I did not know they automatically added the tip and I was tipping the waiters and bar staff. I was wondering why I was getting such great service until someone informed me I was double tipping.

I think its pretty automatic - you would have to go to guest services and have them "de-automatic" you, otherwise they assume thats what you are going to do.

Let me get this straight. On prior cruises they let you designate tips and put that information in envelopes to give to the CM's. Now, unless you specify otherwise, the standard tips are automatically billed? I guess I'm ok with that. I just wanted to know what to expect.

On post #333, chicogirl says do a search of gratuity letter in stateroom, and you will see a copy of the letter left in your room stating that if you don't want the gratuity added to your room account, just stop by guest services and make that change, but that it was now automatic. I can't remember the date it says, but it is fairly new, like within the last 2 months.

Can not wait!!!! Still need to finish packing...will do soon obviously.

Thanks for the update. I now remember the discussion but didn't pay attention until now.

Ya know, while making these reservations last year I thought that I would not be as frazzled with Thanksgiving preparations because I would be saying "Let Disney do it." Well, I am probably just as frazzled if not more. Unfortunately, Disney won't be doing anything until Sunday. Then relaxation will be the rule.
